It was a good game, but there was some atrocious calls from Paul Simpkins, more so the dropped ball that went into slater's hands on the broncos tryline and the Broncos sheperd that didn't get called on. Shane Webcke was a good forward but seeing him go doesn't bother me all that much.
Only diehard supporters of the Bronco's are really sad to see him go. Like me.
I have to agree about the ref. He made some bad calls. The storm got a try (from king?), and I changed channels. 2 minutes later, I change back, and the Storm's points haven't changed from 8.
And I'm all like wtf?
Of course, I wasn't unhappy about it, because it kept the Bronco's in front.
