The Sims may finally have weather!

I just got Pets and inside is the teaser for the next expansion pack, it looks like they will actually have weather other than sunshine!

I just got Pets too and when I saw that I laughed maniacally. {seriously I did. >>;}
It will be so awesome to have rain!
At the bottom it says:
"-but watch out for unpredictable weather!"
Hmm...I wonder what that means..

And I was just talking to my friend the other day while we were playing University about how cool it would be to have weather in the game. I knew it would happen eventually. We love you, Maxis and EA!

OH MY GAWD.
THAT IS SO AWESOME.
Hopefully it'll be out sometime in the middle of next year.
I think they've already begun working on it.

"Unpredictable weather" I'm guessing it means the electrical storms that were originally planned to shut off all electricals a sim owns for a limited period of time.

I have to disagree with a point made in that wiki article;
How do they know sims can rake leaves? Ok, so it's shown on the flyer, and? It's just an art picture to advertise the next pack. The artwork on the front of the OfB box shows a sim holding a cake on one hand whilst eating a slice of it and he is covered in flour. Well that doesn't happen in game.

If they have trees around the house they could very well have leaves to rake, we'll just have to wait and see. All we're going by right now is a little flyer that only gives hints as to what is in store for the next expansion.

Sorry, I wasn't saying that they definately wont be able to rake leaves. I was just bugged by how the article was jumping to a conclusion.

that would be cool to have weather. but i hope it doesnt slow down game performance. xp i hope they make more sims2 expansions from the sims1 games. like makin' magic and the one where your sims can be famous. blaugh 3nodding

In sims 2 for gamecube they have rain.
