Oops, someone left the water running.

Right, so yesterday I was playing one of my many sim families.

When the wife got home, she had to use the bathroom. So I made her use the toilet, then wash her hands afterwards.

Well, the sink's water kept running, making a sound ((water-running sound)) that drove me crazy.

I tried deleting the sink, but the water's still there.


How do I get rid of it?

Just a glitch. Try restarting the game.

What about the possibly related glitch of this dripping sound when the camera is "in" the bathroom? I'm ready to kill it.

I noticed that, too.

Like, I'll hear dripping sounds and I'll be all "WTF?" I keep thinking it's a sign that the sink might break soon.

I had that same problem with this sink and the remote control car.
I don't really know how to fix it though, sorry.

That happened to me once... I don't remember how I finally got rid of the sound, or if I ever did...It drove me insane!! There have also been times when the sound of the car running has stayed there...

That happened to me, but with the school bus.

It happened to me....i went to neighbourhood without saving and went back in. It was gone.

I've had sounds remain after what was causing them has stopped/gone and all I do to get rid of them is save the house, exit and then reload.

That happened to me today. I just told one of my sims to get a drink and when they turned the water off it stopped.

I have one house where all the Sims will start making the crazy sign when they get near the sterio as if there is somebody dancing even when it's turned off.
