I don't know how many of you have seen this list of phobias, but I have it bookmarked and found it quite an entertaining read. surprised Because I'm weird, I like to go through it when I'm bored every several months. Here are some of the phobias that I found interesting:

I'm Automysophobia- Fear of being dirty. The rest of my family is too.

And Bromidrosiphobia or Bromidrophobia- Fear of body smells.

I don't really have a fear of insects or spiders, thank goodness (there are a bunch of spiders in my room and insects all over our house). I just don't like them. D:<

I don't really have any phobias.

The closest thing I have to a phobia is a slight fear of man-made objects collapsing (I couldn't find that on the list). So on highways, rollercoasters, etc. I have a fear of them collapsing and falling, but it's really minor and doesn't stop me from doing any of those things. xd

I've visited that list before.
My major phobia is Agoraphobia, the fear of crowds. However, this usually leads to the fear of leaving the security of your own home, and I have both.

I'm horrified of going to parties unless I'm close friends with everyone, and I get extremely paranoid when I leave home, whatever it is.

Aichmophobia- Fear of needles or pointed objects. (Which is odd, because I am only afraid of doctor needles. Peircing and tattoo needles aren't scary to me.)
Trypanophobia- Fear of injections
Insectophobia - Fear of insects.
Acrophobia- Fear of heights (I'm so bad that I have a hard time walking on catwalks between buildings or down stairs when I can see to the bottom.)

A phobia is defined pretty much as something that causes you to avoid situations or change your lifestyle to accommodate that fear. I see a lot of people placing the 'fear of pain' as one, but I'm sure no one likes pain. Unless it makes you avoid any situation where pain is possible (everything? o.O ) I don't think it'd be a phobia. But yeah, I hate pain too.

I'm quite certain I do have a phobia. That'd be the loss of control I feel when going to the doctor's. Freaks me out.

i think those are the only phobias i have in the true sense of the word. injections always scare me half to death because i'm afraid there will be an air bubble in whatever's being injected into me and i'll die. the thought of something growing inside me *caughfetuscaugh* whether it be human or non scares me to death, too, though.

Automysophobia- Fear of being dirty.
I have that... ^^; Sometimes; it's just with people, kind of. If I were to fall in mud, yes, a tad icky but I wouldn't freak out. However, when someone spits on me or something, I freak out and wash the dirtied skin repeatedly until I feel it's clean. sweatdrop

Bibliophobia- Fear of books.
I'd die if I had the phobia. gonk

Ecclesiophobia- Fear of church.
...I have it, a bit. Religious people scare me- at least, the ones who are all, "Come, child! Join the church/cult and ye shall be delivered from Evil! And, free cookies on Sunday! For the price of your immortal soul!" gonk Really, really scared of them... emo

What if I don't have an immortal soul? Will they send me to jail? xd And, I like being evil. twisted
