Name-Tadita Name Meaning-Runner Gender-Female
Age-18 winters Tribe-Kawani Tribe, though she left it when she was 15 to live in the depths of the forest.
Appearance-Tadita has waist length black hair and dark skin. Her eyes are dark and hidden, never showing much emotion. She wears a leather band around her head with a feather on it, a rememberance of her tribe. She wears a shirt made out of hide with a vest and pants made out of a lighter material. Her shoes are also made out of hide, like her shirt. Her build is slim, and she stands at about 5'4.
Likes-Making crafts, beads, hunting, collecting berries, and enjoying the wind slapping at her as she runs through the land.
Dislikes-Being cold, getting hurt or in trouble, relying too much on others, and confrontations.
Personality-Tadita likes being a lone wolf, she prefers to live around animals and the forest instead of with her people. She is withdrawn and has trouble speaking with others, she's quite shy. Tadita loves to run, she feels like she can forget everything (all her problems and such) by running but when she stops she remembers everything all over again. Tadita prefers to be silent, speaking only when neccessary.
She prefers to work on things alone than to deal with others. Her only friends would probably be the horses who live near her teepee, nature, and other animals she doesn't like to eat or whom she would never harm. Tadita tries to be helpful but mostly cannot because of her fear of dealing with confrontation and meeting new people. Due to her inability to accept her problems and try to solve them she now lives in the forest, away from her tribe.
History-When Tadita was young she used to be full of energy and loved to laugh and play with the other children her age. After her mother became deathly ill, Tadita stayed by her mother's side always and over the next two years she began to slowly change. She started to create a shell around her, people could get sick and die and she didn't want to deal with losing someone close to her again.
When her mother died when she was 9, Tadita entirely stopped playing with her friends. She preferred to sit in her grandmother's teepee and help her out with things around her home. Tadita grew up faster than other children her age, she learned to make crafts and she began to take an interest in beads and making clothing out of hide. She loved to run and hunt, she enjoyed collecting berries and catching fish.
Her only friends began to be nature itself and the small animals she befriended. She had no need to play with other's her own age and she began to slowly move her walls further apart and eventually the children stopped asking her to play with them. Tadita stopped talking so much and she wasn't as energetic as before, the only times her old personality showed through was when she ran. Everything was let loose then.
Years past and Tadita stayed the same, she was unresolved to change again. At 15 her grandmother passed on and Tadita packed up all her belongings that she needed and left. She moved into the forest, setting up a teepee and began to live there. She was content and her life continued on until one day three years later. That fateful day was the day she met Rain Curl. Tadita had always loved the beauty of the horses in the Kawani Tribe and she had always longed for one.
Unfortunately she was never blessed with one, no matter how much she prayed for one. But that day Rain Curl appeared to her in a clearing and it was the best day of Tadita's life. The mare had come to her, it was if she had wanted to seek Tadita out as if she knew Tadita needed a friend again. Tadita had turned to go back to her home in the woods, thinking that Rain Curl would have an owner already but she didn't, the mare had follwed Tadita home.
After meeting Rain Curl, Tadita felt blessed and relieved and making a new friend. Having a horse of her own pleased Tadita greatly and it made her smile which she hadn't done in so long. Now Tadita has decided that perhaps more friends to live with her would be a great idea, her teepee is always open for more animals but most of all horses to come and stay.
