this is the part that i like to consider as the battle's "climax"
shikamaru is badly hurt but damaged kakuzu in the process (hidan)
hidan just helped kill his comrade by accident (kakuzu's blood)
kakashi is on the brink of death (raikiri x 4 = almost no chakra)
ino/chouji have done absolutely nothing (when do they ever?)
Naruto's jutsu is near completion. (its shown the results of the move he just has to master it)
this could go any way.

Shika is planning on doing something with Hidan, so I dont think he'll be confronting Kakuzu yet, meanwhile Kakashi is in trouble, because even though Kakuzu's heart got destroyed, he still has other 3 hearts, and he's close to Kakashi enough to use that ''Heart-Ripping'' technique. I think Naruto completed the jutsu and he's on the way, unless another team has been dispatched to help them. Chouji and Ino can at least MOVE and help Kakashi or handle the puppets =/

According to a scan I saw, I know of one thing... And, there's a few guesses that means a few fans won't be too pleased.
I'll leave it at that since (a) could be spoilers (b) it's not confirmed (outside of a scan that I saw that DOES show a certain character.

I'd LIKE to see Shikamaru nearly done with Hidan & while that's going on, Chouji and Ino jump in to help Kakashi.

At some point help is gonna help and together they will kick Kakuzu's a** while Hidan is off being a retard with Shikamaru.

Too much, too much.
It will never happen that fast. With 6 opponents total...
It will be a few chapters before anyone dies or is seriously hurt. Didn't anyone read the Sasuke rescue arc? A lot of fighting, THEN someone finally dies. A lot of fighting, THEN someone gets hurt.
