My daddy just told me he's gonna buy like $100 worth of nice yarn and new circular needles week after next. I have to make him an Afghan with it, but it's better than using the Red Heart I'm usually stuck with.

Wow, that's a nice dad you have there. biggrin I've never made an afghan, but for $100 of yarn and needles I'd attempt it.
Wow... you're gonna fall in love with the yarn. 3noddingheart I never really used red heart myself. sweatdrop i started with perfect match, caron brand, and then started using simply soft.
That's awesome! Have fun making the afghan with all that nice yarn!
My internship doesn't pay a whole lot so I use a lot of Red Heart Yarn...sweatdrop But if you put it through a washer (regular cycle) and a drier (not too hot...) it actually comes out softer.

Cool! Afghans are fun to make, particularly size size isn;t critical. The first time I switched from Red Heart to a nicer yarn it was like getting a treat to work with.
