Has anyone heard of wither of these autors? I'm sure someone out there is a Douglas Adams fan. He gained a bit of popularity when his book, "Hitchihiker's Guide to The Galaxy" was turned into a movie a couple years ago (and subsequently mudered). The entire five book hitchhiker trilogy was amazing. He has such an amazing and intelligent sense of humor. The Dirt Gently (sp?) series is awesome as well. Now Harry Turtledove is a bit more serious. He writes alternate history, which I am in love with. The series that got me hooked began with The Confederacy's victory in the Civil War. The (so far) 10 book series spans all the way through World War II. He also writes on older subjects, such as ancient Rome and 16th century England. Any history buffs should give him a read.

I love Douglas Adams, I've read all five hitchhiker's books and one dirk gently book. He's is a great author, and one of my favorite stories of his is "Genghis Khan". That was hilarious, Douglas Adams was a genius.

Yes, he is most definitely a genius. I love how he refers to his five book "trilogy."
