I thought he was one of those people w/ so much confidence in his powers (5 hearts) that he wouldnt get scared. Why against naruto? I would be more afraid of fighting kakashi/shikamaru

Yamato said so himself. That, and the fact Naruto is holding a giant flipping shuriken of pure chakra. Naruto's chakra at that! So you know it's got a ton stuffed in there. XD

I think it's like... dumb for him to be scared. He fought Shodaime, and had no beef fighting Kakashi, who's the strongest in the village. So him being all OOOOH MY GOD A KID WITH A SHURIKEN is silly.

XD It's rather weird that he's actually controlling the Kyuubi, he has the eyes, but he isn't jumping all over the place. =/

I would think Tsunade is better than Kakashi, not to mention Jirairy(completly forgot how to spell his name) though im not sure if he counts as "in the village". Gai is also pretty high up there to. And I can understand a little about him being kinda scared. He lost some hearts, enemy reinforcments came, and now this big a** chakra shurikin is about to come flying in his face. At the very least I would be surprised.

Also, I don't think Kakuzu is in any way afraid of Naruto. He's afraid of the weird new jutsu he's never seen with the chakra readings off the chart. He's not thinking "zomg, save me from Naruto!" he's thinking "Damn, I can't get hit with that!" There's a big difference there.

It's the whole "Kakashi is the ultimate ninja and clearly he will become the next Hokage and he can beat everybody and he's way better than Tsunade" etc, etc. But yeah. Naruto's power level keeps rising. I'm waiting for the day when one of the Hyuuga oggle him with their Magic Eyeballs and shriek "I'm blinded by teh light of his POWAH!!!!!" or something.
