I am a teen I wonder what enveryone at school thinks of me I hear harsh words and kind I see my life crumbling before me I want to escape I am a teen
I pretend nothing's wrong I feel dead I touch your soul, or I try I worry about my future I cry, just like you I am a teen
I understand that we're different yet the same I say things I don't mean I dream of a better world, a better future I try to make people adore me I hope you don't hate me I am a teen

I remember doing this for school, only we had to choose an inanimate object. Nice version of the teen thing, by the way. Not nearly as angsty as some other poems heart It's more of a sad thing, less bitter. Good job.
