Upon further review, I've come to realize the first one is "Hi, I'm pimp."
At first glance, it looked like "David."

Not all 1337 looks like that. Unless T3H is considered txt tlk.
I don't speak leet, but I understand that there are alot of ways to portray the letters.

Technically, no one "speaks" leet. It's a WRITTEN (typed in most cases) code.

The biggest problem with 1337 on Gaia is the backslash gets deleted from posts for some reason, making it unintelligible. Of course, even if it didn't, 1337 is still impractical since it takes more time to substitute numbers and symbols for the letters.

Some of them did. I had 9 of each, and 5 backslashes disappeared.

Heh, those are pretty good, except I(i) is usually substituted with an exclamation(!) as opposed to a "|", so I was like "Huh? Why can't I read this?" but yeah...
