Lolipops. Many of us call them suckers. I call them suckers too, but I thought about it today and realized that it doesn't really make sense. Suckers don't suck. People suck on them. If you are the one doing the sucking, then that would make you the sucker. The sucker should be called a "suckee." Wouldn't you agree?

Interesting. It could also be a play on "a thing to be sucked on" or something. But who knows?

I never really refer to them at all. But the last time I did I probably called it a sucker stressed .
