There's something evil about the rain - Oh, there is almost something evil in the rain! I know I'll see you there again, 'Cause there's something evil in the rain.
I wonder if the rain, Could wash away this pain. I feel it pull and strain, As if some mule at it's reins.
There's something evil about the rain. I can feel within it something to gain. Some sort of release from the pain- That you make me feel, again and again.
Simple feelings rushing over me. Struggling to break or tear free. Can the rain, let it go? Can the rain, even know, How we feel within it's shell? That things aren't completely well.
There's something evil about the rain. You, standing there, are the main Reason of my ever-longing pain. While it is one that I'd live again, It is one in that it did stain, My heart. Your pain.
We meet under the trees. We hear the voices in the breeze, We see the tears upon the leaves, And we know that it rained. It's almost as if it is trained- To come and go as much as we, Straining and wanting to be free.
There's something evil about the rain - Oh, there is almost something evil in the rain! I know I'll see you there again, 'Cause there's something evil in the rain.
