Even long after your gone
In the slience of my mind
I slowly remember you and your face
The love you sliently showed me
While I was loudly running away.

You walked off, into the darkness
I pondered joining you
I am scared of the darkness
But I can't let you be alone in there...

I can still feel your faint touches
I can still hear your whispers
Feeling your love, seeing your determination
I wear the circle around my neck
It reminds me of you and your perfection

Although you have left for now.
Its just for a little while, and that alone is my solace
As I travel thorough this strange and forbidden darkness
That is your mind
I see things I do not yet understand
As if another universe is the gateway into your heart

I cling to you, hoping I'm not being obstructive
You clung to me as well, hoping I would be the one
When you found out I was
There was a strange and welcome emotion
Though you were too shy to display it

Violently, shaking, we bite and scratch as we pass each other
Love both healing and inflicting the wounds we have now
All of this I saw in your eyes as you lay next to me, asleep
As if you would rather be by my side than everywhere else
Our phones went off, and we both didn't hear them
Because the power of silence was speaking then
