What's this about a yo-yo glitch?

If you hit an enemy with the first hitbox of the yoyo (using up-A), and release with the first flash of yellow, the second hitbox drops to the ground. (it's invisible)

And anyone that walks over it gets hurt.

But the cool part is, once it's set, and the enemy is between you and the hitbox, you can perform a move, and the enemy takes the damage without you actually touching him! biggrin

I like to fool around with the Yo-Yo glitch.
I can get the hitbox to drop about... 80% of the time, 95% of the time once I'm nice and warmed up.

I like trying to go put a thunder jacket on. The deathlined bthrows are sexy finishers, though.

Don't worry, I didn't know what it was a few days ago. xd

And I'm not too sure what it is now, but I think it's the flash you get whenever you hit someone.

The "hitbox" is the area within the programing that designates what area of the attack is desiginated as a "Hit".

Example...



That red area on the tip of the knee is the "hitbox". If there's a hit on any opposing character by the red, that's a hit.

Thus, hitbox has been explained.

Ness isn't a HORRID character, despite what a lot of people think.

His cons certainly overshadow his pros.

He's floaty, has a odd double jump. Not the best "b" moves available. Light. Horrible third recovery jump ((Easily stopped. Jump in front of lightning. It's risky, but works like a charm. I'd rather take 3% damage than have my opponent come back)). Giant head... >_> Okay, not so much.

Any character can be good if you know what you're doing with them, and how to use them.

I would not put odd double jump as a con, since it lets him use aerials faster than shuffling.

The double jump has a set animation. When he does his double jump, he goes through that set animation. It's hard to control, hence the con.

No, I don't have any hitbox animations of Ganondorf. Though I wish I did. wink
