What is Haku's gender?

I was wondering what do you think Haku's gender is? I've talked to some poepl and they say boy and others say girl. They say Haku only says he's a boy because it would make Zabuza weak if a girl was stronger than him.

umm dude, Haku even says that he is a boy xp
also I'm sure if Haku was a girl, Zabuza would notice when haku would take a leak in the woods. I doubt they would sleap in a hotel every night

I know Haku is a boy someone esle sais Haku was girl and Zabuza might have told Haku to say he was a guy
