What I find really annoying is when people bash a character and can't even spell their name correctly. Can you honestly blame Kaoru for being afraid? She thought she was going to see the man she loved crack and turn back into a ruthless killer. I don't think I'd be much better than she in that position.

Although I can partially agree with Mr. Yami, I find her
annoying at times also, but I would not use that particular scene as an example.

Lmao... and she misspelled Saito Hajime name. But at least she spelled kenshin, right? O.o *smiles* that the cooler part of the beginning of volume 2 *smiles* Legend of Kyoto..

Kaoru is still a teenagers and kenshin is like the first guy she fell in love with. And the last person she had close to her was her daddy and that was a long time ago. She feel that she need that one person next to her to keep her stable and when kenshin changing she that he is going to leave and wander Japan once again and by her crying shows her love she has for kenshin. If she did not cry then you would know that she is not meet for kenshin. If you think that she crys too much then you do not know what love is at all... 3nodding

I don't think I'd be much better than she in that position. seriously...this is a discrace to all bashers, she was concerned for kenshin, she loves him nobody likes to see their crush or love hurt and she definately doesn't like to see him as the killer from the revolution, she likes the other side of kenshin, so obviously she's concerned he might not go back stare and seriously, if you wanna bash somebody, spell their name correctly please

I blame the anime producers for the poor execution of that scene. stare I understand the purpose and meaning behind the whole Kaoru crying thing and can appreciate that I just don't like that scene; it's annoying how it was done.

Kaoru is one of my favorite female characters, but I agree, that sometimes she is a little bit annoying and I wish she would shut her mouth... but I like the way she cares about Kenshin so much.... sometimes she is very funny and I nearly love her and sometimes I think she goes over the top! But this is only in the Anime... in the manga she is so lovely^^
But after all... I LOVE the pairring AoshiXKenshin heart

A couple of things -
1) K-A-O-R-U. That's her name. Like Yami-san said, if you're going to bash, spell their name right. O_o
2) Kaoru did not want Kenshin to become Hitokiri -- if he did, she knew he'd leave her, which is the last thing she wanted. Cut the girl some slack!
3) While Kaoru is my favorite female character, I do agree she can be annoying at times. However, a better scene to point this out would be when Kaoru is yelling about how Sano doesn't like her food and start throwing things at him -- but hitting Kenshin instead. While funny, that was uber annoying....
But Love for Kaoru-chan! <3 *cough*myalterego*cough*
