Wands....Has Anyone Noticed

How short they would be in real life? JK Rowing describes them as being "8 inches" or "9 inches" which really is very short, and not at all like how I imagined them to be. Definitely tiny compared to the ones used in the film.

That's less then the length of a ruler, that is really short. I like the wands they use in the movies.

I like the wans that they use in the movies to, they seem more realistic then when people say 11 inches etc.

I really like the ones in the movies better. I think the ones the the movies are more porpotional to the actors arm lengths. 8" would be more suited for, say, a younger person.

I'm going to put in a vote for shorter wands, seeing as they would make much more sense for daily use. Which would you rather carry around, a ruler or a pencil? I vote pencil. Much more pocket-friendly. The smaller wands seem much more managable.

i personally like both. The long ones because they look cooler, but the shorter because they would be more practical to carry. As long as they aren't a yard stick size, big is cool, lol.
