I've probably been thinking about this too much, but whatever.
In POTC 2, remember that nifty scene where Jack was watching Jones through the telescope, but when he puts it down, Davy's standing right in front of him, along with a bunch of his crew? Why didn't he do the same thing when they were chasing the
Pearl?
I'm bored, bear with me.
Because you'll have more dramatic effect with the telescope. And, even with the lord of the depths, magic has it's limits. The most common with teleporting is range. During the chase, the
Pearl was most likely out of range.
Or maybe Jone's just got tired of the whole Sparrow/
Black Pearl affair and just wanted done with it. What better way then to send them all down into his waters?
Odd little factoid: When the word
black is used before a noun as a noun marker, (such as with the ship) it means outcast or odd man out. Example, a black sheep. It doesn't mean the ship is litterally black, (of course there are infact black sheep, but everyone knows that those are only myths) but the outcast of a group. What group?
@Shiloh Filia: Of course. Why, where do you keep
your boats? At a dock? Pff!
