rayne_phantom professionalpineapple Dr[[Acula]] .. schools like to make kids read the same thing.. what the hell?
There aren't that many good books.
Even the ones they make everyone read aren't that good anyways. Like The Odyssey.
And if you take some of the specialized classes, you get to read different stuff. I had IB English last year, and we read Invisible Man, Like Water for Chocolate, and Chronicle of a Death Foretold. They were all quite good.
never heard of the specialized classes books...
my english teacher really wants me to take AP English. which is for collage students.>.< and she said there was oodles of homework. and i said no^_^

I don't think I'd ever take an AP english class, that'd drive me insane with all the work and how you have to read between the lines... It's hard enough to read the book as is, *ex:Frankenstein* to many thousts and wilts and and no I won't not...to confusing...

believe it or not AP isnt bad...teachers normally like the class more and tend to be nicer and give you more interesting assignments
but reading books for school makes them 10 times less enjoyable then they would be otherwise neutral
