As you walk along the paths of the gods, you notices a new path, with a desert land on one side and a swamp on the other. A shiver crawls down your spine at the melding of the different environments in one small area. Walking down the path makes the feeling worse, like the area itself is watching while you travel. This is the area of the Goddess Devi, who controls the elements. Earth, Air, Fire, and Water all obey her commands, and the Wazzit worship her as their personal Goddess. She is not evil, but neither is she good. She has a kind streak, but she has some devilish qualities hidden away that come out to play sometimes. Watch out for her wraith, for you might end up drowning in water, burning in fire, or suffocating in the very earth. Be careful of what you say near her temple, for the very land you walk on will report back to her what is said.

~About the Goddess~ Posts in: Dark OrchidFavorite Items: Anything that is made from the elements Least Favorite Item: Things that smell rotten Personality: Outgoing at times, but her emotions tend to change like the weather. Her elements tend to do things on their own and ignore her: Need to know if it's going to be windy or rainy around the temple today? Her hair tends to gust or rain depending on the weather. Fire - tends to summon erotic books and foods on or near her " I hate when I get something juicy and it gets squished in my lap by this thing called 'Erotic with Fruit'." ( For some reason I get that one the most often....)Air - tends to blow things in her face, usually nothing nice and they tend to get in her mouth. " Coincidence? I think not!" Water - tends to give her books on aquatic life or drop fish in her lap..... " Boy talk about rotten smelling!" Vines - tend to give her self help books...... " Like I needs any help?! Hello, I'm a goddess!" Devi rolled around on the floor in a giant heap of feathers, blowing her air hair out of her face and away from loose feathers. "I'm so bloody bored!" she moaned into her arms, then yelped. She yanked her fire tail away from the vines on her foot, having once again caught them on fire while distracted. "I wonder what Damen is up to...." Quickly she dripped her water hair on the vines and watched them grow back up her leg while humming 'this little light of mine'. The vines quickly crept across the floor and grabbed a book, yanking it across the floor to her feet. Devi frowned down at them, but shrugged and picked up the book that had apparently come from nowhere. She sighed as she read the title out loud, " 'How to make friends and influence others'. Well, duh, I already do that! I'm not a Goddess for nothin'!" The vines ignored her. They usually did anyways, except to give her self help books. Her hair and tail weren't any better though. Her tail was always giving her erotic books, her water hair was always giving her books on aquatic life or dropping fish in her lap, and her air hair was always blowing things in her face, like the time it threw a small yappy creature into her mouth.....She tasted bugs and goo for three weeks after that.

Damen was floating around the corridors make sure everything was perfectly set, his goddess was usually kept busy with her elements so he put himself in charge of making sure the whole place looked impresive enough for his lovely goddess. His smokey body curling behind him as he finally made his way to his goddess, Devi. His gray eyes shifted inside his unsubstantial skull, dark hair ending in wisps of smoke before he settled before Devi, a smirk upon his lips as he thickened, legs shifting from the smoke untill the only smoking part seemed to be his dark irises.
"The temple is ready, my love, now we must hope the news of our arrival in Mevarron spreads." He nodded, a few wisps trailing from his hair and tail as he held his form. His eyes rested on his goddess, settling down in a comfortable kneeling position before her, watching her in her pile of feathers.

Devi smiled at him, then blew a feather towards his nose. "Thank you love. Your always so helpful. Do you think we'll have many visitors?" She asked, her air hair blowing against him when she moved closer.
She sighed as her water hair started raining, then announced 'hair weather', "It's going to be overcast with a big chance of rain in our woods today, and the wind is going to really be gusting over the temple." She pulled her hair over her shoulder to rain down her back, then clipped her air to the side of her face.

Damen smiled and nodded at his goddess, watching the feather float before passing a smoky hand through it, watching as it fluttered further. "I very much hope we do, have visitors I mean." He nodded before shifting, his lower half wavering before losing density, floating as he looked around, a hiss of a sigh emitting from his mouth.
"The weather hasn't been all that well since we arrived, mayhap that is the reason guests have not flocked to you, my goddess."

Devi waves her hand, then leans forward to grasp his smoky one. "The weather is never well, but I'm hoping that since my hair will announce a change soon. It's lonely here, just the two of us, I do hope we get guests soon, followers to our ways." She purses her lips, then blows a puff of air at the feather, causing it to lift up before drifting back down again, settling towards Damen again.
"Perhaps we'll even get a few visitors soon." Her hair slowly stopped dripping on her back, just as the rain started to fall outside the temple, causing the lava area to hiss and spit fire towards her path. "Or maybe not....Though I would think crossing over that path would be a test of worthiness for a fae to be our follower."

Damen sighed and nodded, floating closer to his goddess before holding his arms around her. He loved her, and held her for the moment as he thought. "They will come to worship you, Devi, I'm sure of it." His gray eyes thoughtful as he nodded, grinning down at his goddess.
"Who would not wish to worship such a beautiful, and powerful, Goddess?" He raised a brow, his shape firm, though his long dark hair wisped and smoked around them. He twirled a feather between his fingers as he nodded, it had to work that way, she was a goddess, she deserved as much, if not more worship than any normal god, or goddess. She was a racial Goddess, the Goddess of Wazzits, a noble, and powerful race! She was also the Goddess of Elements! She was powerful, any of the many races that inhabited Faetasia could come worship her!

Devi nods and curls into his form, her head lifting up, her eyes looking into his as she smiles, one hand rising to his smoky cheek and giving it a gentle caress. "Right you are, my love, right you are." Devi turns to look out into the evening light, watching the sun set beautifully on her land, it's rays highlighting the lava and gleaming on the water.
She swishes her tail, then tugs at one of the vines on her foot, trying to loosen what had become quite uncomfortably tangled around a clawed toe. She brushes her hair from her face and moves her hand through Damen's hair, enjoying the feel of it's silky feel sliding through her fingers. "Shall we go to bed for the night? I don't think anybody will be coming today."

Damen nodded, sighing, mortals seemed to becoming ungreatful little beings in their being. His eyes narrowed at the thought, maybe he might take the time to appear before a few of the Wazzit race that now roamed the land. He nodded, he was determined now, he would leave the temple in search of followers for his Goddess, Devi, his love.
"I think I might float about the mortal faetasia for a little while, get out and about, maybe find out why no Wazzits, or any other race for the reason." He nodded, gazing down into her purple eyes with a dim smile on his lips. Brushing some hair from her eyes he kissed her forehead tenderly.
"I will be back.." His voice trailed into a faint hiss, his eyes clouding as his form shifted, blowing past her arms, caressing under her chin before wisping out of the temple. He would be back, but with followers.. He hoped.

The gloom of Faetasia's rainy weather was not helping to cheer up the island's most grim Wazzit. He didn't much mind the rain itself, but with it mixing with drops of blood and staining his fur red it begun to irritate Julien. He trudged through the mud and muck in search of shelter, and eventually stumbled upon a murky area where wet sand and swamp-slime oozed between his toes.
With an exasperated sigh, he gave up trying to find any actual building structure and settled for a rock beneath a tree. There he seated himself, though the rain still pelted him, and for this he cursed the Gods.

Damen had easily noticed the entity the was nearby as a Wazzit, smirking as he heard the curse as if it rang through the temple. He glanced at his goddess once more, whispering softly, he would get the wazzit, and it wouldn't take long at all.
He wisped through the area, quickly finding the soggy Wazzit, it make him smirk, he solidified fully before making himself noticed, his grey eyes dancing. "Wazzit, it seems you are angry with someone that wishes to see you." He grinned now, standing a little ways away, his bottom half slowly shifting into the wispy smoke that was his power.
"Follow me to the Goddess of your kind, I have a feeling you will change your curses when you do." He expected no objection, no rejection of the facts as he turned and headed toward the temple that was Devi's, she would be pleased.

Devi sighs softly, leaning into the whisped caress Damen had given her. She slides from her throne area and into the pile of feathers, cushioned and safe in their fluffiness. She yawns and curls up, her body grown tired, though her hair has stopped dripping all together. The rain outside swiftly ends, and as her tail burns a little brighter, the sun comes out of the clouds, shining hotly on the land. She waits for her love's return before she will fully fall into sleep.
