EDIT 10/8/07--Given that this lottery has been somewhat of a disappointment and our ticket-buyers have been anxiously waiting for months, I've decided to go ahead and choose a winner without selling all of the tickets. The winner will still receive 10,000g; I will be paying the difference out of my own gold. In order to give last-minute buyers a chance, I will wait until Tuesday, October 9, 2007 to pick a winner. Thanks to all who have participated.
Edit 6/18--I thought selling 100 tickets in a guild with 1500+ members would be a piece of cake. Apparently I was wrong. So, in order to speed things along, I'm now allowing members to buy up to three tickets.
It's been a while since we had a lottery, so I thought it would be fun. There will be 100 spots. Tickets are 100g each. All the funds generated from the sale of tickets will count toward the prize, which comes out to 10,000g. Only one ticket per person, please (This may change later on if the tickets don't sell very well).
If you would like to but a ticket, please send the 100g to me, willowtree. Please be sure to specify which ticket number you would like, via either the trade or in a pm. If no number is specified, I will give you the first available number.
