Poor Jacob!

Did anyone else feel really bad for Jacob? I mean come on. First, he goes to the prom or whatever in Twilight only to find that the girl he likes is already taken.
But then it gets much much worse in New Moon, because he's pretty much best friends with Bella, and he comforts her and makes her happy and temporarilly heals her from Edward hurting her. Then Edward, the guy who left her in so much pain, comes back and Bella leaps into his arms and forgets all about Jacob.
And leaves her friend behind. Can't she have both guys? ( Edward as a lover, Jacob as her best friend)

I mean its gotta SUCK to be him!!!

if Edward and Jacob were in her life, one of them would have to die because vampires and werewolves dont get along too well. 3nodding

I wish she could have them both like that but the story just makes it nearly impossible. I mean especially if she becomes a vampire.

I agree, but we're kinda getting off topic here...so, back to the original question, yeah I feel sorry for him. He was willing to wait for Bella even when she told him she didn't like him that way, and he spent so much of his time with her just to have her leave him without a second thought when Edward came back. How would you feel?

i wanted to give jacob a big hug soooo bad!
his part in twilight is sooo melancholy!
if i were in forks (after bella wreaked havoc on my boy's heart !) and saw a boy like jacob (talk,dark,handsome,depressed becuase of broken heart) i would be attracted to him sooo much more than edward (standoffish,weird vibe humans get from him,moody)
i want to give jacob a hug so bad it makes me wanna cry!
*i have to add this even though it has nothing to do with this thread but there is a jacob at my school who dosent look like the jacob but who acts like him and looks kinda like edward and is usually out a lot too O.O
he is pale like edward and has dark hair and eyes like jacob.
i gave him a hug so i feel a bit better about the jacobs predicament now

mainly because i get a weird high or complete personality change from pop tarts and i had just eaten two fudge ones, ya smart, and i didnt give anyone else a hug.
he gave me a really weird look...

did i mention his nicname is wolfman?

I feel bad for the poor guy, but I don't think I cried over him. I wish that he and Bella could still be friends though.
