On Stephenie Meyer's website, under Twilight the movie, it says that she doesn't know who should play Edward Cullen yet. Who do you think it should be??? I honestly like one of her choices, Tom Sturridge:

to tell you the truth, i cant really imagine anyone who could play edward sweatdrop . i have the perfect image of what he looks like in my head. but i seriously doubt that anyone would look like him. for some strange reason, he looks kind of emo in my head redface

Henry cavill is the only person that comes close (he's not really that close to my vision but still) He could do a terrific job! HAVE YOU SEEN THE COUNT OF MONTE CROSTO?!?!?!?!?!?!? *faints*

I think they should get a semi-unknown actor to play him biggrin

Ok, I have to put my two cents in . . . Edward should be played by either Drew Fullerher from Charmed ( he played Chris. What a hottie!!!) or Hugh Dancy from Ella Enchanted ( Prince Char for those of you who watched it. Perfect for the role, although nothing like the book . . . the movie I mean).

No, I'm not out of my mind nor have I lost it. I just don't picture Edward like that. To me, he's more of a newer version of Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Sorry if you don't like it. If you don't the * and i don't know why i just want to say this* sod off.

He's not bad, but Tom Sturridge is a little too scrawny. I agree with Faye_26, Drew Fuller would make a very good Edward.

he's such a cutie, was recently in hairspray (as link) and was previously in high school musical (but he looks kind of young in that movie)

thats why I'm up for anime. but the manga piccies so far mostly have orange yellow hair for him. But bella speciafically described him with reddish-brown hair.

Personally, I think Robert Pattinson could make a great Edward Cullen. For some reason, he was the first person who popped out of my mind at Edward's first appearance in the book. Though I was thinking... Tom Sturridge could also play the part. Hm, what do you guys think? xp
