Zaubrer's Jewelry & Gallery Glass Paintings

Hi! I'm Kat - known on Gaia as Zaubrer. My craft is making jewelry and gallery glass. I thought I would throw a few pictures of my jewelry and paintings up here and if anyone is interested, I continue to update as I make more jewelry and gallery glass paintings.

First, I'm going to present two pictures of a necklace I finished last night. The first picture is a close up of the butterfly dangles I made and the second is a shot of the whole necklace.

Did you handmake all of the beads?

The bead themselves are store bought, but I made the dangles and the inserts between the chains. I'll have more to put up here later.

Yes, a lot of of the items that I make are for sale. PM if you want to buy something or know prices. I haven't sold a whole lot yet, but I'm working on a web site that I can sell through. I'll put some more pictures up tonight, as I'm at work right now.

I adore the necklace in the first post! And the vase is super fun. How long on average does it take you to make necklaces?

Because I used ready-made chains in this necklace, it only took about an hour or so to make it. I didn't really time myself. I have another necklaces that took a couple of days because I made the chain as well.

Those are really, really, cool. I wish that I had that soart of talent. I enjoy art classes, though... you don't have to be good to enjoy somthing though.

Thank you! It's not really that hard. I taught myself to make earrings in about 30 minutes. There are a lot of wonderful books that can give you the directions. Just search for bead jewelry book.

I actually have about 5 or 6 pieces that I use as decoration aroung the house. The rest are set up for the pictures. I try to do something different each time so that the pictures don't become repetitious!
