For everyone still using ipod buds or sony headphones - PLEASE consider these instead!


The Grado SR-60 can be had for around $50 and is an old school headphone that looks like it belongs in the 1960s but is really an AMAZING thing! But it is an open headphone so noise will come in and noise will go out. The portapro is cheaper but similar to the SR60.

The Sennheiser HD25-1 (NOT the HD25-SP) is a great one with a closed design so nothing comes in or out - but just like the SR60 it's a bit big and noticeable. But the sound is great! The Ety ER6 (and the ipod version, the EtyER6i) fit in your ear for the most isolation but you have to get used to them - they fit like ear plugs and might be a bit weird for some to use.

Good luck and have fun, they are all great headphones!
