... just yesterday I got caught up to page 31 and now it's up to 60+? gonk
It's the Russian front all over again! Damn those weaboos!
Be an example to your men,
in your duty and in private life. Never spare yourself,
and let the troops see that you don't in your endurance
of fatigue and privation.

A little over a week ago my sister was gone and one of her friends decided to hang with me till she got home. He started watching Naruto and I couldn't keep from LOL'ing because of how stupid I thought the show was. I jokingly said that I bet he was the kind of guy that thought a skilled ninja could block bullets with swords, and we actually started to argue it. His main argument was that the sword was capable of taking lead.

Always be tactful and well-mannered and teach your
subordinates to do the same. Avoid excessive
sharpness or harshness of voice, which usually
indicates the man who has shortcomings of his own to hide.

Exactly. Anybody who goes through the trouble of addressing the country of origin and caliber in the title of the weapon is usually full of s**t unless the gun is chambered for a different round such as my grandpas .22 luger.

Actually I did get it from wikipedia. domokun That's why I just put regular quote rather than quoting a specific person. It's not wikipedias fault entirely as to what's on their site, but to me it's still funny that some a** wipe feels like they need to make that s**t up. lol

I think they put that there because that's it's formal official military designation. They had to put it in there somehow, so why not just jam it in?

kudos too you for admiting your lack of knowledge, and tryingto learn.
I'm a gun novice as well. I have only ever fired two guns. A 9mm hand gun (If that is even the correct name) and a .22 Pistol (If that is the correct name).

There aren't any specific models named solely for the caliber, but in a lack of knowledge of the model the caliber is sometimes stated instead so that a basic idea is given as to how much of a punch it packs.

I thought Luger had only one caliber.
Then I heard some were made in .45 ACP and now, .22?

It's not a genuine German luger. It's an American made replica chambered for .22 long. At least the one my grandpa has is anyway.
