Zach had tears in his eyes. He pulled her back into an embrace, then kissed her.

Avill felt a small leap of joy. Then she heard a clink of metal. One of the gaurds pulled Zach off of her, locking the handcuffs around his wrist behind his back.

Zach said, "Avill... I'm sorry..."

The gaurd person pulled Zach backwards, Avill looked at him. She didnt say anything. The bruise was on the side of her head.

After Zach was put in confinement, he pulled his legs closer to him and cried. Avill was certain to hate him now...

Avill stood up, "I am going up stairs..." she said.


L looked at Avill, "Matsuda... is she going to be ok?" He asked after she had left the room. L clicked something on the computer and pulled a mic closer to him, "Zach, i am sorry about this arangement, but it is what i think is best for you... if light-kun is as good as a friend as you said, then he should turn hisself in, instead of leaving you in there..."

Zach laughed, muttering under his breath, "Like Light would be that stupid... Shishuri was doing the killing, anyways..."

"How was she doing those killings?" L asked.



Avill was sitting on the floor in the hallway. She had her arms wraped around her legs, and her head resting on her knees.

Zach laughed. "I'll give you a hint! Ryuk has helped them many times. The Notebook of Death is real!"

" A notebook of death?" l said.


Avill sighed, she stood up and walked back into the room, "L, i want to know what is going on..." she said.

Zach laughed. "About damn time, Shishuri!" Suddenly the camera exploded.

Shishuri giggled. "We can't let you stay in here forever, can we? Kira needs one final service of you until your debt is repaid!"

Avill turned and ran, she slamed into someone. they pulled her back into the room.


L looked at Avill, "I am sorry... you are going to have to stay here while we go..." he said.

"You must kill the Kira investigation team!"

Zach stopped suddenly. "All of them...?"

Shishuri nodded. "Every single one."

The color drained from his face. "I can't... I can't kill her, Shishuri. I can't kill Avill, or Ryuzaki, nobody... I can't."
