Ghosts Are Among You Roleplay

A man dressed in a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans. Wearing a brown robe stepped out from behind the trees. He just shook his head looking at the police car as it pulled away. He was a fairly old man in his late sixties. He just said a few words as he watched the Police Car speed away.

Old Man- Goodbye, Eric

Then he turned around. Walking up the driveway to the back yard. He was headed toward the symbol that was burnt into the grass.

Rose tilts her head to the side when she heard something and then she turns around to see the old man "Hey Who are you?" she asked while floating on over to him and seeing what he was doing.

*grabs his revolver and aims it at the man*...

Rose gives Sai a look "Put that thing away before i make you." she warned, holding up her hand with her palm out to him. "He hasnt hurt anybody yet so what makes you think hes evil as of right now?"

The old man glanced over at Rose out of the corner of his eye. The expression on his face. Was a mix between stern and kind. Though his nostrals were slightly flaring from anger. Due to Sai pointing a loaded gun at him. Ghosts to him were far more interesting than the living. The first impression of Sai. Had pretty much done a number. To sour his opinion of him. He didn't feel like explaining himself to the two. Since he had just succeeded. In repelling the evil spirit that was plaguing them. Instead, he continued to walk up the driveway. Headed toward that one symbol in the backyard. He didn't feel like he needed to heed to a maniac. Or stop to chat with a ghost. Which was interesting sure. But it was the second thing on his list of things to do right now. That partially opened seal on the lawn. Had allowed an evil demon to escape its clutches. There was barely even a crack in the thing. Meaning, if it was opened fully. Far more dangerous spirits would appear in this world. He would not allow that to come to pass.

He stopped suddenly as the burn marks on the grass. Came into his sight. It was possibly worse than he had first thought. Hopefully, this would just be an open and shut case. Like all of the other demons he'd met in his lifetime. Every time he would meet up with a demon. The battle between them would be very short lived. Though, he was certain that all he had been able to do. Was repel the spirits from this world. They were beyond destruction from such mortal means. Though, everything had worked out fine in the past. Thinking that as he stood there. He calmed himself slightly. Knowing that this was most likely just a short lived exorcism.

He pulled a piece of chalk out of his pants pocket. As he started walking toward the symbol. The man placed the chalk on the ground. As he started to draw something in the grass. He stopped abruptly as the object came into contact with the symbol. He dropped the object watching it burn up before him. Then, the old man took a few steps. Backing away from the demonic symbol.

Rose floats on over to the old man, curious as to see what he was doing as he walked over to the symbol. She wrinkles her nose at it "That has a smell to it" she muttered and then watched as he pulled out the chalk and started to draw but then it touched the symbol and then burned up. "Im guessing you brought extra chalk right?" she asked, wondering what would happen to her if she touched the symbol.

*sai holsters the gun*.... what is it your doing?....*he looks at rose*....and after i figure out how i do it ill show you how to do that tangibility thing...

The old man snorted at the symbol. As he kicked his feet up into the air. Flipping back onto his feet. He pulled a silver cross out of his pocket. Stabbing the ground with the thing. The ground was actually smoking when he did that. It started a small fire on the lawn. Which lit up the symbol in fire. Then, he saw something standing in the middle of the circle. All that was left was the flames. Which were rising high into the air. Making the area very hot. The one standing in the middle of the fire. Didn't even seem to have a set form to them. It was just a large walking monster.

~sigh~ *redraws pistol*...i didnt think i could trust this guy...he summoned a monster...

The old man held out his hand. As he looked directly at the monster that had emerged from the ring of fire. He started singing a tune as if to repel the creature.

Children have you ever met the Boogieman before.
No of coarse you haven't for you're much too good I'm sure.
Don't you be afraid of him if he should visit you.
He's a great big coward so I'll tell you what to do.
Hush hush hush, here comes the boogieman.
Don't let him come too close to you. He'll catch you if he can.
Just pretend, that your a Crocodile.
And you will find that Boogieman will run away a mile.
Stay shoo shoo and stick him with a pin.
Boogieman will very nearly jump out of his skin.
Say buzz buzz, just like the wasp that stings.
Boogieman will think you are an Elephant with wings.
Hush hush hush, here comes the Boogieman.
Tell him you've, got soldiers in your bed.
For he will never guess that they are only made of lead.
Say hush hush, he'll think that you're asleep.
If you make a lovely snore away he'll softly creep.
Sing this tune, you children one and all.
Boogieman will run away, he'll think its Henry Hall.
When the shadows of the evening creep across the sky.
And your mommy comes upstairs to sing a lellaby.
Tell her that the Boogieman no longer frightens you.
Uncle Henrys very kind, he told you what to do.
Hush hush hush, here comes the Boogieman.
Don't let him come too close to you. He'll catch you if he can.
Just pretend, your teddybears a dog.
Then shoutout fetch him teddy and he'll hop off like a frog.
Say Meow, pretend that you're a cat.
He'll think you may scratch him and that will make him fall down flat.
Just pretend, he isn't really there.
You will find that Boogieman will finish in thin air.
Here's one way, to catch him without fail.
Just keep a little salt with you and stick it on his tail.

"What are you doing?" she asked, seeing the monster and her eyes widened. Looking back at the old man she narrows her eyes "Why are you bringing a monster?" she asked but then she frowned when she heard the tune "Ive heard that before, my mother showed it to me once....why are you singing it?"

The creature emerged from the fire. Taking the form of a shadow. As it moved forward. It had taken a bit of the fire with it. Wearing the flame in place of where a normal persons eyes were. But there were clearly no eyes to be found. The creature moved forward toward the old man. Raising its hands up into the air. It attempted to grab ahold of him as he stood there. He moved quickly away. Though, the creature just turned around and headed toward him again.

Rose's eyes widened "Holy..." she floats away "Watch Out Sai!" she yelled before looking at the old man "Why did you DO THIS??"

The old man just stood there ignoring there misinformed comments. He knew he hadn't summoned this thing. His attempts at exorcism had just made it angry enough to show up. He watched in horror as the creatures fingers turned into sharp claws. Then in an unearthly voice it spoke.

???- Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Rememberrrr youuuuuuuu!!!

It bared its claws toward the old man.

???- Youuuuuuuu like many otherrrrrrrrrrrrsssssssssss!!! Have takennn up ghost huntingggggggg!!!. Becausssee of meeeeeeeeeeee!!! Ha...........ah.............ah...........ha!

"Dont Kill That Man Monster!" she yelled at the monster, wishing very much for him to leave. "GO AWAY!" she waves her arms franticly
