Two questions:
Can a Captain who is currently home for it be the one to do a joining duel, or does it have to be a Reaver? I just wanted to be 100% sure.
and
With what is socially acceptable shifting back to the "old ways", is a lion who wins a joining duel against a female Reaver still considered a member? Or can they obtain membership and just expect to be criticized by traditionalists for it?

Captains can also do joining duels!
As far as "old ways" go, although females aren't encouraged to be reavers, no one can deny that they earned the title, so a duel against one now would still count. They might have to put up with a little ribbing from traditionalists, but even traditionalists would have to accept it.
And, of course, it isn't as if the whole pride's demeanor is going to change overnight. Aesir's "lax" ways have been going on a while, so many younger members born since Aesir was the warlord would never have experienced this sort of thing.

Okay, got a question that I picked over EVERYTHING to find the answer to... Found nothing. It may be a silly question xd Do Thralls HAVE to be captured on a Viking, or can they be caught in other circumstances(Like a lion accidentally crossing into the territory and meeting the wrong Reaver)?

I believe this can (and often does) happen!
