Karnia, Maikia Rank: ? Seer: No Sexuality: Hetero Colorist: Ameh or Nerp Gifted by: En Gedi Pride MegaPlot Contest
Personality: Once upon a time, Irit was the happiness lioness to life. She was married to her beloved husband, her mate, the only man that could understand or care for her. She bore him beautiful cubs, and all was well in the world. He went out to hunt and she watched the cubs, picked flowers, and generally was carefree and joyful, bringing laughter and happiness into their den along with the cubs. When her husband died in the hunting accident, Irit's world came apart all too quickly. They'd married against both their family's wishes, going against their fathers and moving out into a remote area to live alone to make their own family. Now Irit can not return to her family and can not turn to his for help, for neither family would allow her and her cubs to remain together. They would be separated, the cubs going to her dead husband's family to raise and marry off, and her own father marrying her off to the first lion that he thought suitable. Irit does not see the flowers blooming around her now, all she can think of is trying to survive the lose of her dear husband out in the wild without help and to care for her daughters. She can only think of the next kill she can bring in to the cubs and barely eats herself expect to keep her strength up. She barely sleeps, guarding the entrance of their den from any that may sumble across them. And through all this Irit is haunted by the memory of her husband, walking in her mind, whispering in her ear, the memory of him rubbing against her side. She is tempted to join him, but she must care for her daughters first and fore most. Grief that Irit cannot join her dearly departed husband weighs her down even more.

Contest Prompt:
The Burdened Widow
Girl’s Personality: Once upon a time, Irit was the happiness lioness to life.
What totem do you think will fit her? Falcon
What plots do you have in mind for her? I'd like for her to actually see the migration coming before it arrives near her lands and set up blockades too close to her den so that way. I'd like for her to possible chase off some lions or lionesses that get too close to her territory and the den. Maybe interrupt a hunter or huntress and steal the meat that she considers rightfully her cub's meat. I'd also like her to develop beyond the griefing widow and allow her passionate side of her nature to be revived by friends and even a mate that doesn't try to take the place of her dead husband, but does allow her to love and life again. Probably closer to the end of the megaplot. Obviously, I'd like to do a lot of rps with the girls.
Prompt Answer: Dawn was quickly approaching, and their was meat to hunt and get back to her four little girls, but still Irit should on the cliff side staring down into the valley. They were moving closer, ever closer. She'd seen the first hint of the large group days ago and had known, had seen the look in the look in Hason's transparent gaze as he stared at her and the girls in his ghostly form before she'd dozed in front of the den's entrance. There was nothing for it, Irit knew. That group was getting closer, maybe even sent by their fathers to reclaim Irit and her daughters, to force them to separate. Whatever that group was up too, they'd eat all the meat in the area and leave her daughters to starve. They needed to be shown that she wouldn't give up her daughters to easily. That the meat in this area belonged her daughters and herself. Even if she wasn't able to hunt anything more than gazelles. But still. The resources here were too little for that group to come and not starve her daughters. Irit sighed. She was soo tired and Hason was no longer with them. Gone. Only the girls kept her apart from him, but still, this needed getting done. Irit Wound her way down into the valley as the sun started to rise and spent the day setting up traps and blockades any further into her territory. Between each Irit panicked that her girls weren't in the den, were taken from her already and would start to head back before Hason's ghost would catch her eye and she'd follow him to the next sight to set up. By the time the sun set, Irit could only hunt a couple of hares down. The girls would have to share the two hares. And Irit wouldn't eat tonight. Hunger was nothing when Hason was so close.
