[EVENT] Hide and seek - Open!

Closing her green eyes the golden bird settled down to take a litte nap. Those cubs were lost, she wasn't doing any good floating about. Maybe when she woke up the cubs would be found, if not, she would continue to help.

Ligeia didn't find one again. For all her creeping and crawling, she'd still had no luck. She paused for a moment to stretch out in the dirt. If I were a cub... Where would I hide...? She shrugged. Ligeia hadn't grown up in the jungle, she wasn't familiar with camouflaging herself here. She decided to keep looking.

Giving up was definitely the option she was leaning towards. She would go to a couple more places, but after that, she was going to go find someone to talk to about staying in the pride. If they were still at it tomorrow, she would help then.

At that moment, a large butterfly took over Ligeia's attention. She tilted her head and began to follow it, callously stepping on branches and sticks. Well, if the cubs were actively hiding from their search party, they'd probably be scared off by the loud leopardess. Suddenly, a bird swooped down low and caught the thing. She pouted, huffed, and continued her search. She was beginning to get frustrated with these darn cubs!

As much as that area was calling to him, he decided to try a different area. Perhaps he would head back over to that spot again. He wondered how long these cubs would be hiding like this? By now you would think they would come out and see what the commotion was. Than he wondered if maybe they were hiding from something. Maybe before coming here something was after them? The thought sent shivers up his spine.

'Maybe the little brats are being taken far away from the pride as we speak' the sinister voice of his darker self said. 'You shouldn't worry about them. They're not related to you. There is nothing special about them.'

Macaria continued to ignore the voice inside him. These cubs were important. He decided that before he took a nap he would be sure that all four cubs were safe in the temple.

After a half hour more of looking, the leopardess called it quits. She looked around one last time and shook her head. "Sorry, cubs, but you've defeated me for now. You're all just so good!" Laughing tiredly, Siya wandered away and back towards the place she'd called home for a few days now.

A branch smacked Ligeia in the face when she wasn't paying attention. She snarled out of surprise, but then took the branch in her mouth and began to absentmindedly munch on the stick and the leaves. What could she do to drive the cubs out? Maybe she could lure them out, but how!? If she'd ever been a mother, she'd have an easier time of it.

Jazi searched high and low – even though it was unlikely that little cubs could manage to climb a tree – but he failed to find a ball of fluff in all the places he’d looked. Unless one were to count a little hare that he’d spooked out of its wits, which he wasn’t of course, the leopard seemed to be having just as much luck as all the others around him. Where could the little cubs be hiding, he wondered. He could understand that they wouldn’t approach him out of their own free will – he was a stranger to them, after all – so he kept his nose on the ground for the most part, searching for a hints of their scents.

Today was the day she was looking forward too! There was a lot of activity in the colony, which meant she could make her get away. Anina wandered around a few lingerers and down into the underbrush she went, laughing the whole time.

Something good was going to happen today. She could feel it! Maybe she would find a new friend!

"CUBBBSSSSS." Ligeia called out, spitting the greenery out of her mouth in the process. And now, to wait! ...Right? That should be all it took, shouldn't it? She furrowed her brows. "I PROMISE NOT TO HURT YOU, I'M YOUR FRIENDDD." Or something. She was rather convincing, in her opinion.

She giggled and wiggled through a bush, sucking her in baby fat tummy every now and then so she didn't get a thorn in it. She smelled others, lots of them! But her attention span was very short. As soon as she emerged from a bush, a butterfly went by. Anina blinked at it and then giggled, going to chase it with claws out.

Macaria headed back to his other spot. 'I just have a good feelings about this,' he thought. His determination was rising. He was no longer tired. For him taking a nap would be his reward for when he, or someone else finally find the cubs. With any luck maybe the would all be hiding together! He glanced around, but still there was no signs of the cubs.

"Hm. Where else could they be?" He asked aloud before heading in a different direction. It wouldn't be too long now till someone would find the cubs. He would just have to be patient.

Aeylah stuck to the shadows as she padded along, ears perked. She'd noticed a lot of interactions going on in the area, and the smell clearly indicated that these were no longer the rogue lands. You had to be careful when trespassing, even if your intentions were purely for taking a shorter route. Some creatures were friendly and others were not, it was simple as that.

But a few times she'd heard something about missing cubs. That tugged at her heart strings, just a little. Despite keeping her eyes peeled she'd seen nothing to indicate a hiding cub, though she wasn't really looking that hard either.

Surprisingly, no cubs came running into her open arms. How disappointing. She walked through the jungle quite loudly. Maybe she'd scare one out. That'd show 'em! In the meantime she plodded along, looking at the other searchers. They didn't seem to be having any luck either.
