Save My Skin (1x1 RP) (~with Hikari_Mamo~)

Loki almost did choke at Freya's comment and slowed down considerably, his ears rather flat. In fact, he seemed to have lost his appetite completely, just nudging the food around the plate.

"Freya!" Peta growled angrily. "You don't say things like that!" She hissed putting the young neko on the seat next to her and pulled Loki to her lap and his plate in front of them both. "Ssh it's okay little Loki." She whispered.

Loki looked up at Peta. "No bath time?" he mewed pitifully. He didn't want the bath time. He didn't like bath time. And he was terrified that he was going to have to go through bath time again.

"No bath time sweetie remember? We said we'd try shower time instead. That's where the water pours over you and things called taps control how warm or how cold the water is. And, You can turn off those taps and the water stops. Then once you're done with the shower you get the towel that was warmed by the steam wrap it around you and go to your room once there you dry yourself and get dressed. If you don't believe me I'll take one with you. Keep you safe okay?"

Loki purred softly, nuzzling against Peta. "Okay . .. " he murmured softly. To him ANYTHING was better than a bath.

Heather came down, looking kind of out of it. She sat down at the table and, noticing Loki, smiled a little. "Hey Loki." she said softly.

Loki instantly perked up. "HETH!!" he exclaimed happily. "You're not blank anymore!" he said, squirming out of Peta's arms to go over to Heather.

Heather laughed lightly. "No I'm not. Sorry for worrying you." she said softly.

Loki pulled back, his face as serious as he could make it. "Don't go blank anymore! You're no fun when you do that." he 'scolded'.

Heather laughed a little more. "I'll try not to." she said, smiling.

Peta let Loki go when he started to squirm then brought Freya back into her arms to continue feeding the little neko her food before cleaning the child's face and encouraging her to go play. "Come Loki. Would you like to have shower time?" She asked with a smile.

Jason wondered in a few seconds after Peta spoke with a smile. "So what's for breakfast?" He asked looking at the table with absolute hunger sitting down a little away from Heather as to not freak her out or anything then loaded his plate with eggs, bacon, sausages and some bread and started inhaling it.

"Food of course." Heather said, causing Loki to giggle. "Go on." she said softly, nudging the boy over to Peta. He looked at Peta before looking back at Heather before going over to Peta, grabbing onto her hand and holding on tightly.

With a grin Peta swept the boy into her arms and carried him off to the shower. "Now. Sweetie I'll show you how the shower works." She opened the door to a bathroom with only a shower in it. It had a ledge on it so she could sit Loki on it if he wanted. Then she set up the hair and body products and chose the most fluffiest most comfy looking towel in the cupboard for him. "All right who's up for a trip to the water falls?" She giggled getting him ready for the shower after turning on a switch that said 'heater' above it. She'd guessed easily that he was afraid of getting cold so did everything she could to make sure he'd stay warm.

Loki blinked. "Waterfalls?" he asked and looked at the shower head, trying to figure out what she meant.

Peta nodded and turned on the water at the tap. "See?" She purred with a grin.

Loki jumped back, hissing in surprise. He then cautiously moved forward and batted at the stream of water before backing up. "It's a hose." he said, scowling a little.  

[Hikari_Mamo]

"No it's not it's a shower." She put her hand under the water with a smile. "It's okay. I'll be here for you. And look there's a little ledge you can sit on too if you don't want to be under the water all the time."

Loki looked a little dubious, but he looked far more willing to give the shower a chance than he was the bath. But he was adamant in one thing. "It's a hose." he grumbled.

Peta gave a small giggle and nodded sitting him on he ledge while she got ready for the shower then turned the taps to the right temp for him and for her then soaked her hair and pulled him under in her arms whispering comforts to him. "If you insist." She replied with a giggle.

Loki nodded, cuddling into Peta, shaking his head as the water fell on him, trying to get it off his ears.
