Personality: Imagine a stereotypically-girly teenager lying on her bed, humming while scissoring out pictures in a magazine. There are cut-outs and posters of heart-throbs all over her walls and ceiling--a disturbing amount, in fact. You look closer and suddenly notice that nearly all of them have had their eyes violently scratched out...
Desdemona is, like her nickname suggests, a taker. What does she take? Oh, just whoever she has a crush on at the time...or, when faced with rejection, their lover, so as to play her object of interest into doing what she wishes. It's for their own good, really! Sometimes males can be too stupid to understand what a catch Mona is...but that's okay. She's willing to help them learn by using whatever means necessary.
Mona is, to put it bluntly, a control freak. She was the kid you knew growing up who had every game planned out to a T, and if you didn't follow the rules, you were in for an earful--or in Mona's case, a tirade. Most foals grow out of their brattiness with time, but not Mona. If she doesn't get her way, you'd better believe you won't hear the end of it. And if she can't get what she wants, she'll ask her dearest siblings for help, namely her brute of a brother. Many times Mona's plans go awry, however, and it's not uncommon for someone to end up maimed or dead, but she takes loss unusually well. This fact makes it unclear as to whether Mona understands love at all, or if what she experiences towards her countless crushes is merely a lustful and sadistic obsession.
If her crush is revealed, flirtation pays off, and things make a rare transformation into something more, Mona's sadistic preferences rise tenfold to the surface. This may not be a problem for some, but Mona's main problem is that she doesn't quite care when something is consensual or not...and if things escalate in dark and twisted ways, some partners may leave her, making way for her pattern of jilted lover plots for revenge.
