I furrowed my brow at Samurai's paralyzation, but we were far from ready to give up. "Catch Velvet off-guard with Water Pulse," I ordered, hoping he'd be able to muscle past his paralysis.
"Oh, no! Aura, if you can, try to cover Samurai in an Avalanche so he can't take advantage of Velvet's distraction!" Keiko asked, wary of Aura's confusion but fearful for Velvet.
Unfortunately, Samurai's paralysis was too severe for him to gather the needed energy for his attack. Amaura's confusion, however, had finally faded, allowing her to focus on the task given her. The hail would intensify around Samurai, covering the Dewott in large chunks of ice that would enclose around him, trapping him underneath.

Keiko quickly recalled Aura before Velvet's Fire Spit could surround her, fearing more for the heat of Velvet's Fire Spin melting Aura than the cold of Shiro's Ice Beam hurting her. "It's okay, Aura. You'll get another chance," She whispered to Aura's ball before replacing it with Tyrian's, letting him out to the side of Velvet's Fire Spin. "You're up, Tyrian! Use Mach Punch on Shiro!" she ordered.
"No, you don't. Samurai, take the hit for Shiro and use Revenge to push him back!" I ordered quickly. Samurai smirked fiendishly, and moved between Tyrian and Shiro just in time to take his Mach Punch. With a grunt, he channeled a warped Fighting-type energy, then pushed it back on Shiro via Revenge.

Sub would simply gasp with excitement as the cat jumped into its lap and nuzzled up to it affectionately. Too stunned to touch it just yet he looked at each of the Snagems around him with a look that said, 'Are you seeing this!?' to which Larrimore just rolled his eyes and went back to his blade maintinence. Once the initial shock was over the Dark One began to gently and happily pet the Liepard, just completely overwhelmed with joy, perhaps enjoying this more than even the cat did.
"Ah, she is just everything!" He almost squealed. Sub really, really, really loved his Dark types and every now and again his love for them manifested in somewhat uncharacteristic ways. But for now, he did not care what others thought of him, he had a kitty that wanted, needed, deserved to be pet and loved. |
