I wear goth gear when I am not at work. The job I have requires that I dress conservatively, but I try to sneak it in there whenever I can.

I'm too cheap to dress in anything but hand-me-downs and clothing from this canadian store called Value Village ... but if I had the cash ... whee it would be so awesome!

Well I'm black, which makes pale skin a bit dicey...yes? Also I don't really shop at hot topic beyond nail polish, t-shirts and hair accessories. However it IS possible to achieve gothicness in scrubs if you have the right attitude about it...and accessories from anywhere seem to help.

You don't have to be pale to be an awesome looking goth ^~ I've met really sexy black lovelies in goth and they were really awesome. Just whatever works for you eh? Go for it.

I do when I feel the occasion is right. Otherwise, I try not to because it tends to scare people off, which saddens me, 'cuz I'm not a mean guy or anything. Me in normal clothing is rather intimidating. I don't need to look even MORE intimidating with goth clothes =/

I'm black as well and I have to agree with Shadow. Just go with whatever works with you. I don't always dress goth unless I feel like it.

I don't dress as goth as I used to on a day-to-day basis. I dress kinda goth/punkish but I don't put that much effort into it. It's college.
I dress like me. I wear darker colors because they appeal to me. THey look best on me, and frankly, my Polish pale skin would look TERRIBLE in bright colors.
