Huggle certainly came with AL I know that for a fact but I think the sleeping in pet beds came a bit before it. I could certainly be wrong though.

Yea, they are able to get pimples. They get them everytime, you let their hygine(sp) drop below 70, I believe.

And you have to make them use acne cream at any mirror to get rid of them.

Well I rented my first app. the other day (just got the xpac), and it had a Dishwasher. I have no clue how long they have been in the game but OMG I must have a dishwasher in every house I own now. They save so much time...

Yup, thats a Free Time thing. The more wants you fulfill the better they will think their week was and the fuller their lifetime aspiration meter will get.
If you fulfill their fears then they have a lousy week and their meter doesn't go up much at all.

Yeah, that shocked me, too. A full week was played for my family (It seemed so much longer! eek ) and all of a sudden they were all going on about how great the week was.

I was all : eek eek eek eek
It was quite amusing. It made me feel happy that I was able to make their week such a nice one. =D

Actually, I thought it was just if they were stressed out. 0.o
Only the Sims from bad families on mine have ever had hygiene issues.

It's supposed to be, they fix this if you get the Apartment Life patch. I don't have the game, so I can still advantage of it, but I think it might cause problems, so I haven't done it a while.

The pet bed thing is also from AL, it's mentioned in the AL Prima Guide.
