Gaia is run by fans of Twilight...

I don't even pretend to understand the attraction to that movie.

Edit: Page 1000, cool. heart

Sure seems like it!
That was fun to make by the way, even if the story has nothing to do with sparklepires.

Mmm, coffee.

Finally moving back to downtown Montreal in July (signed the lease yesterday) into a nice, HUGE, well-situated apartment with 3 friends, finished my tech support certification, got a whole bunch of specialist referrals, applied as a volunteer for a dozen or so transgender-specific and GBLT support organizations, got into their support groups, and went and got myself a social life over the last few months, fwhee. :3

In short: Life is good and sorting itself out. heart

It's finally hit me: wedding planning stress. We should've had our invitations made and sent out at the end of April; it's the end of the first week of May, and I still haven't finished making them! We have to have them out to the printer by this weekend!

We also have to decide on a cake design (luckily, a family friend is making the cake), write our vows, talk to a friend about making a book for us to have everyone sign (he's already agreed to do it, we just have to tell him what we want), think about who we want to do any readings during the ceremony/reception (most likely the aforementioned book-making friend [he's a bard]). . . Not to mention my fiancé is still swamped with work, so he'll be out of town until. . . June. When some other friends are getting married. And then most likely again 'til our wedding in July.

Goddammit. Non-traditional wedding planning is hard. I need hugs and tea. =T T=

And once again, last night I had to do my stupid resturant job feeding the mindless braindead ******** sheep of Amerikkka!

I knew it would be hell when I walked in the front door and had to WADE through a crowd of people at the hostess stand, and coworkers were running around like it was doomsday. I like how they say "We got slammed today" all casually... that's an understatement.

At first they put me on the thankfully slow task of sweeping floors, which is hard when the place is packed. I had to rush when a table emptied and sweep before the next group sat down.

Then they made the mistake of putting me on dishes "for a short time". I kinda know how to work the machine but I'm not good at dishes, I really haven't done it enough. Sure enough the dishes started piling up and piling up and soon no one could find a place to put them, even though I was working as hard as I could. My anger was rising and I was about to burn out or flip out.

Waiters, being stuck up and lazy, would ask "what the hell is this, why are these dishes piled up?" and I wanted to scream at them "IF YOU WANT IT DONE FASTER GIVE ME HELP!" I broke some dishes and the head manager comes back and asks if I'm okay, and I sarcastically say "Never been better!" and she gave me no help. I expected to be there scrubbing till the end of ******** time. Or until I killed someone.

Finally a guy in the kitchen that sometimes did dishes saw how bad it was and took over, had me stand at the other end and put away the clean stuff.

The management needs to realize I suck at dishes. I am not fast enough, and if those ******** want me to be superfast, they need to replace me with a ******** robot or something, because I'm not some programmable ********. It's enevitable that we'll all be replaced by robots someday anyway, so might as well be now.

The real question is why it's so busy all the time on weekends. Mother's Day may have something to do with it, but for some dumbass reason our resturant, a part of a national chain, is real popular. Why is it popular? Because americans are dumb, fat, and sheep, and if they see an advertisement for our chain, or their friends are like "it's a cool place to eat!" or they see it's a popular place, they'll go there! I've been at places like Mongolian BBQ and Outback Steakhouse and Applebees on a busy weekend, it was a 2 hour wait, and I went elsewhere!

Why not go elsewhere? To a resturant that gets little business and is in the red, maybe? Or quit bitching about not paying your morgage because you spend $50 to eat out every weekend, and eat at home instead!!!!

But no, if it's popular and all your friends go to it and you saw an ad for it you must go, because people are conformist sheep and they do what everyone else does. And they do what the TV tells them to do!

So now I go work a double shift and feed more of the fat masses. ******** horray!

A little request for any of you out there who may be doctors someday: Please, please, PLEASE do not poke a sensitive spot on your patient unless absolutely necessary. I mean, if you need to point out a spot they should avoid touching because it's tender, *point* at it, don't ******** poke it! And if you do, don't be surprised when they suddenly become angry and incoherent in your general direction.

In related news, I just got released from the hospital after emergency surgery last night. And I have also confirmed that you can, in fact, become stoned off prescription painkillers.

- Still at uni
- Currently looking at moving out of home again.... this time with my mate heart
- Currently not wearing pants due to hot oil being accidently spilt on them. Just thought you should know ;P
- Apparently only needing psychologist appointments around once a month now.

*falls over*

I just did like 20 hours in the span of last weekend. 10 hours in just one day! The two days weren't as bad as Friday but still pretty exhausting.

Restaurant work sucks. If you happen to work at a popular one.

I was looking at the mashups for the latest Gaia comic.

I like how 90% of ALL the mashups are Cresendo & Nicolai gay jokes....

The best gaia could do was a bunch of girls making gay yaoi sex jokes?

WOMEN.

That's it, I'm turning gay asexual....

In my experience, that's just 90% of "normal" people in general.

Hell, I expected more people to make mashups of the Overseer/Sentinel nude fanservice scenes in the latest comic, not make two minor characters into a yaoi gay orgy.

And I love the latest announcement. You can get better crap from the daily chance, but only IF you invite lots of random people to gaia. No, Gaia's not money hungry at all, they don't want more taxpayers paying customers...

I hate it when people do this:

I just got a PM from someone on my Rainey_angel81 account. They had noticed that I had gifted a lot of things to this account. So they PMed me and said "Can you give me an item? I saw that you gave Sadinda a lot of expensive items."

So I replied back that Sadinda is my mule and he said, "But you can afford it. So stop being selfish and give me an item."

WTF? do you think that is going to make me give you something after you say something like that?

I didn't reply and I signed in today to 10 PMs saying "give me an item, b***h" >.>
