"We could ask Leon! He's probably been to one we should have him tell us or help us plan it and all that stuff." Jasmine said a little bit more excited. Then she paused and pressed her nose on his. "We're getting married."

Leon nodded slowly. "All right then. I trust you. I'm just worried that's all. I don't want what happened to mother happen to Jasmine or her children." He sighed and caressed their daughter's head and kissed his wife's nose.

Aven suddenly realized exactly what that meant. "Oh crap . . . my mom's gonna go ballistic." he muttered, hiding his head under his paw as he realized what this meant . . . when his mother heard . . . he'd be in for an earful. "She has to be involved in everything . . ." he added, realizing Jasmine may think that his mother would go ballistic because of her, when it was likely the farthest thing from the truth.

Kailee wrinkled her nose slightly as Leon kissed it, but she was smiling. "Everything should be fine." she said happily, looking down at her daughter.

Jasmine smiled a little a nudged his side with her nose. "Don't worry I'll keep her reigned in." Jasmine giggled. "Just wait here." Then she jumped off the bed and padded outside trying to scent the mother then when she did she scratched the door. "Um...Aven's mama? Can I talk to you?" She asked sitting at the door and waiting.

Leon chuckled and moved them to the bed he didn't move Natalia, he had a feeling she'd protest strongly if he tried to do that. And an ear full was not what he needed.

Aven's eyes widened. "Jasmine no! Don't!" he nearly shouted, but it was too late, she'd already bounded off. He started pacing, panicking, knowing it would only take a matter of minutes . . .

There was a sigh both from a male and a female in the room as they heard the scratching. "We cannot catch a break, can we honey?" Elyon giggled softly, followed by a less than amused snort by the king.
Elyon quickly re-donned her clothing before opening the door to find a wolfy Jasmine waiting for her. "Is there something you needed?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.

Kailee smiled and snuggled into the covers and Leon.

Jasmine smiled. "Just a quick thing. Since I never really had a mama to do awesome stuff with, can we do awesome stuff together like shopping and getting our hair done and possibly like...I dunno, help me plan my engagement party?" She asked with a grin.

Leon smiled back his fingers caressed his wife's cheek then his daughters back. He really did hope that Kailee would want more children. He was about to press a kiss to his wife's head when a loud scream perked his hearing. "That sounds like your mother screaming...I wonder what happened."

Elyon smiled hearing that Jasmine wanted to do things together . . . until the engagement party was mentioned. Her face went blank for a second. "Your WHAT?!" she screamed before growling and shifting wolf, jumping over Jasmine and running to give Aven a piece of her mind.

Aven winced as he heard the scream and . . . sure enough . . .

"AVEN!!" Aven winced again when he heard his mother scream his name and knew she was in the room. "HOW DARE YOU PROPOSE WITHOUT INFORMING ME!!! I KNOW YOU HAVEN'T BEEN HERE BUT THAT'S NO EXCUSE!!! AND WHAT ABOUT THE RING?! DID YOU GET ONE OF THOSE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE?!"

"Mom, I-"

"AND THEN SENDING JASMINE DOWN TO DROP THE INFORMATION ON ME!!! ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK?!"

Aven whimpered and backed away slightly, waiting for the wave of shouts to pass.

Natalia heard the shouts and it disturbed her, causing her to start crying. Kailee heard Natalia start to cry and she jerked to full wakefulness quite quickly. "Oh baby, it's okay. Grandma's just angry with Uncle Aven for proposing to Jasmine when she wasn't there. Shh. Don't cry." she said, not that Natalia really listened. She didn't like the shouting.

Jasmine sighed gave a little bow to the king then bounded after her future mother in law then sat between them. "I proposed." She said simply. "I was the one who asked him to marry me. It was my idea yell at me. . . And face the wrath of daddy." She smiled smugly. "I haven't gotten him a ring or anything like that yet so please stop yelling at him. Or I won't let you pick out my dress." She knew how much the dress meant to most mothers. Her's in her sick state nearly killed Ange when she found out that she had eloped mainly because of the whole dress thing not because they eloped.

Leon winced then after setting aside his wife and screaming child traced to Aven and Jasmine's room. "WILL YOU BE QUIET!!!" He roared. "My daughter is awake and not happy because of the screaming. now shut up!" Then he traced away leaving Jasmine blinking in confusion. "But I wasn't yelling."

Elyon nearly swallowed her tongue when Jasmine threatened her with not being able to pick out the dress. Then Leon popped into the room and shouted at everyone. Her eyes widened. "Oh no, poor baby . . ." he murmured, looking abashed. She hadn't meant to upset her grandchild. With a sigh of defeat she looked over at Jasmine. "For the record, I'm not afraid of your father." she said heading outside. "Aven, if you want to give her a good engagement ring . . . well, your grandmother didn't want hers to go unused after she died." she said with a soft smile at her son.

"Er . . . Thanks Mom." Aven said, looking awkward, hanging his head. He really wished his mother would keep her mouth shut sometimes.

Jasmine's eyes turned a little cold but still smile like. "See? Things go well when we talk calmly." She moved a little and licked Aven's cheek. "I'll be right back my darling." She purred in his ear then padded into the bathroom shifting into human form then once finished just casually wondered out of the bathroom and into the closet to find something to wear. She frowned a bit then pulled on a shirt that was too big for her. Looked like Aven's stuff. "Okay back." She purred and sat next to holding him against her.

Aven stared openly at Jasmine before smiling goofily, his tongue lolling out as he was pulled against her, looking up at her. "You're beautiful . . . you know?" he said, nuzzling close.

Kailee, in the meantime, was able to get Natalia to calm down, though the little baby was still in an upset state and looked as though she'd start crying again any second. "Shh. It's okay Natalia. Mommy's here." she cooed softly before she pressed a soft kiss to her child's head. "Everything will be alright. I'll protect you." she whispered.

Jasmine blushed and gently stroked his pelt. "So are you my darling." She whispered in his ear stroking his muzzle affectionately. "You're so handsome, and strong and- oh look a penny." She said picking up a penny shaped gem and stared at it transfixed.

Leon smiled and held them both close. "Mama and daddy are here my little one." He added caressing Natalia's back his face so tender. "We'll protect you."

Aven laughed at her distraction, until he noticed the gem. His eyes glazed over as he stared at it before he started growling. That was not a penny . . .

Aven . . . Come back to me Aven . . . you can bring your pretty bride . . . you are an asset to this pack, stealing one of the vampire numbers and turning her to be like us . . . Come back Aven, and all will be forgiven.

The haunting voice sounded only in Aven's ears as he stared, unfocused, at the penny. It was so hard to resist her call. And he could keep Jasmine . . . "Yes, Mother." he said softly before shifting back to his human form. He walked quite calmly to the closet, his eyes still glassed over and he dressed himself before looking at Jasmine. "Let's go Jasmine." he said, holding out his hand. It was her one chance to come willingly. "I don't want to hurt you."

Kailee smiled up at her husband. "What was going on down there?" she asked softly.

Jasmine frowned at the penny like gem a little confused as to what had changed in Aven. Something in Jasmine snapped. She didn't know what it was but she sensed something wrong. Something...corrupt. Her eyes assessed his body language and she took two steps back her heart pounding in her ears. "Something's not right with you...This isn't you..." She looked at the penny and her eyes flickered back. Something asleep started to force it's way free. She remembered the pitch she needed to scream to get her families attention and took several breaths her body ready to take whatever his attack would be. That gem broke something inside her. Undid whatever Aven had done to her.

Let go...be free my child defend the one you love. Her mother's voice rung in her mind and she smiled it gave her the strength to scream. Though the tone was too high for the werewolves she could hear it, and she knew her brother and father could hear it.

Sirius dropped his quill and his eyes went black. "Jasmine." He breathed. But he'd never been to her room. He couldn't trace there directly. He'd have to take the long way to her. He traced to Leon's room and followed the sound to a room thrusting opening the doors.

Leon froze up. "Something's wrong. Stay where with our daughter I'll see what's wrong." He traced to Aven and Jasmines room. The sight he beheld sent dread through his bones. He shared a look with his father. He muttered to his father in a low tone in the vampire tongue. "I sense another beast."

Aven stared at Jasmine and then his eyes calmly slid over to the door where Leon and Sirius quickly appeared. "Ah . . . I see . . . so you'd chose your precious vampire family over me." he said, his voice devoid of all emotion. "I suppose to fight now would be foolish. But remember Jasmine, you are mine. And I will have you." he said, his eyes narrowing on Jasmine before he quickly turned tail and fled, going out the window. Once he landed, he shifted and ran from the palace, a pack of enemy wolves coming to greet him and escort him away.

"NO!!" Jasmine roared chasing after him until she was tackled by her family. "No!" She sobbed. Her body shook with pain. She felt empty now. "I'll kill her!" She roared something in her snapped and shattered. "I'll kill her myself I'll tare out her throat!"
"Jasmine, Jasmine calm yourself!" Leon cried struggling to take hold of his sister. "No! No!" She shook with anger the stone warm in her hand she stared at it hoping someone was listening. "You have no idea what you have unleashed." She growled at it. Her eyes blazed red. "Remember my face. It will be the last you ever see when the war comes." Then she tossed it away. Then suddenly the world went black.

"Elyon!!" Sirius screamed. "Elyon where are your dungeons!?" Leon and his father tried their best to hold a frenzying Jasmine down but nothing was working. "ELYON!!! DON'T IGNORE ME!!!"
