Breaking Lines - [Vampire rp]

"Depends, what do we have left?" Judith asked, dragging the bag of movies towards her to look through it.

"mhn, some horror films and the tudor tv series thing." he yawned

The warm water felt wonderous as it cascaded down the length of her hair. The scent of her jasmine shampoo filter through the bathroom. It was relaxing. She finished up quickly though...she didn't want to fall sleep in the shower. She dried of equally quickly and loosey wrapped a towel around herself. She glanced only briefly to see if they started the film before disappearing into her bedroom.

She felt a little more awake after the wash but that was dimishing.....she put on her undergarments, shorts and a tank top for PJs. But the moment she sat on the bed she didn't want to get back up.

Judith fought a yawn and pushed the movies back onto the floor.
"They can wait." She wasn't particularly tired but hanging around with such sleepy people was making her want to fall asleep right there.

[I'm gonna be going too, gotta take a shower. Night guys.]

Koko laid down on her side. She was becoming chilled but too lazy to crawl underneath the covers. Her still slightly damp hair was partly fanned around her while a few strands trailed over her face. She slept peacefully.

Yoki lifted her head up from her resting place in the living room to see what was going on, but settled back down. Bly was sleeping near Drake's feet. He gave a disgruntled noise and pawed at Drake. He must be dreaming.

"mmhm. Good idea." Drake yawned again, barely fighting to keep his eyes open again. He drained off his drink and put it on the floor next to him and smiled as Bly grunted and pawed in his sleep. He didn't intend on moving - he was far too comfy on the sofa and practically dozing off as it was.
"i think i'll stay here." he said, folding his arms for a bit more warmth and snuggling no into the sofa cushions.

((Hmmm....is this one of the moments where we jump a couple hours while the vamps slumber?))

The sun rose slowly over the sleepy town. The darkness crept back for the day and would await its chance to return once more at day's end.

Sam snuggled under her covers....not wanting to get up but knowing she had to go to church. And if she had to go....so did uncle Patrick. Reluctently she crawled out of her bed. Her hair was a wreck.....read strands were going in every direction. She wore men's plaided boxer that she had bought because she found them comfy and a baggy gret T-shirt. She yawned as end wondered to the bathroom to wash her face.

Patrick meanwhile was still asleep-snoring softly.

Down the street Fayt was already up and about as was his father. Fayt's dad seemed a bit better this morning....perhaps the talk with Dereck helped and his dad agreed to get some consoling.

Drake snoozed off to sleep, enjoying the warmth of Bly as the dog moved to cover his feet and not worrying about the slightly awkward position he was in.
He dreamt lazily, imagining Judith and Koko on an old galleon with him to some unseen destination. They were leaning over and for some reason Judith was wearing an elaborate pirate hat, obviously the captain. the crew consisted entirely of the 'sonny' robots from the film, and Bly and Yoki were joining them. Yoki had a parrot on her head and Bly had an eyepatch.

Tristen had made her way back to the motel just in time for daybreak and crashed out in her bed fully clothed.

San didn't put much effort into her appearance. Basically if the clothes were clean that was good enough. She literally kicked Patrick out of bed to get up. Her father scolded her as he passed by but there was amusement in his eyes.

Patrick groaned and rubbed his bum when he stood. "Jesus, Sam...." he exclaimed. "Do you treat all your guests like this."

"Only the ones I'm related to...and Fayt," she replied. "Now hurry up. You're going to make us late for mass."

Patrick went for a quick change in shirts and combed his hair quickly. "Done," he grinned.

Then everyone gathered up in the vehicle and drove to the church. They greeted the Jones when they saw them. Dereck was there too with his wife. Mass lingered on...Sam's mind wondered a bit. She never was the greatest catholic. Fayt's mind wondered too.....more so about vampires.

Koko twisted and turned in her sleep. The blankets were a tangled mess around her but she was quite relaxed. Her tank top had bunched up slightly and bared her stomach.

Drake yawned as Bly shifted his weight and his eyes fluttered open. His head pounded briefly, but didn't last long. He sat up and looked around blearily feeling the stiffness in his muscles from sleeping awkwardly. he couldn't' spot Judith so carefully edged his feet form under Bly and stood up to investigate and check up on people. he knew

Koko's back was faced towards the door. She didn't stir. A weeks worth of exhaustion had caught up with her again and the alcohol during the night helped too.

Church ended and everyone filed out. Some chatted outside while others went off to go about their day. Sam and Fayt's family talked and made plans to hang out that day since Patrick was back.

Drake snuck his head around the door and saw koko sleeping. he smiled, but decided not to risk waking her, even though eh was tempted to slip into bed with her. he stretched the stiffness out of his spine

Bly remained dreaming by the couch, but Yoki awoke. She stretched out and yawned as she got up. She lumbered over to the water bowl only to find it empty.

The Fayt and his father spent the day over at the Nome's house. They shared stories about Grace, Sam about her motorcycle, Patrick about LA which led to him mentioning about moving back.

"For real?" Sam asked in a bit of excitement. Although she had always wanted to visit him in the big city the idea of him being around more also pleased her.

"I'm considering it," he said. Then he went on about how he was considering opening up a little shop of his own.

His brothers laughed. They two never really considered Patrick's line of work very manly.

"Thanks for the support," he glared.

"At least what he cooks is both presentable and doesn't send us to the hospital," Sam said. Fayt snickered at the comment.

Patrick also laughed and gave Sam a squeeze. "Nice to know someone is on my side," he replied.

"It was only that one time....." Sam's father siad getting a little defensive.

[Drake didn't see Judith on the couch when he woke up so now I have to think of where she may have ended up. xD]

Judith rolled over, sleeping soundly on the floor behind the couch. Her hair disheveled and her cup sitting on the ground beside her.

Lillin napped when they got back to the hotel. Even she was tired after staying up all night.
Mason, having slept most of the night decided to do some investigating of his own and staked out the church. By his logic most of the town should be there, small towns in movies at least were typically religious.
He didn't see anything unusual, the native girl from the other night wasn't there but he doubted she went to church anyway.

Dereck was back as the station soon after chruch and was there for most of the day. Bless his wife for being such a patient and understanding soul. He finished up some paper work with Richard and then went over the case files off the recent deaths that he was about to rule as animal attacks because nothing else fit.

They had no suspects.....and those who came to town just arrived. That strange couple...as least the girl was......Koko's friends.......and now there was some woman from Chicago wanting in.
