Just a little happy update about my recent mantis babies. I have one that I kept, that I am really having fun with he/she is so friendly and comes right up to me as soon as he/she sees me. At the moment, the mantis is known as Himshe. <.< yah, kind of hard to tell gender when they are only a little larger than ants.

okay, i have to ask. e.e ever been tempted to name one fuzzy 'er somethin?

Nope, but I have been tempted to name one Lucifer. rofl

It is strange how names come up. Krissim Klaw, actually was my first mantises name. Loved it so much I stole it. XD

XD LUCYFUR. woo. surprised i like that. alot. XD where DID you get that name anyway? x.O

I actually created it for a mythical wolf creature in a journal of mine. It was suppose to hunt down and kill anyone who dared open and read my journal XD

In truth, I was thinking Crimson Claw. However because my spelling was so bad it came out Crissim Claw. For added affect I decided to change the c's to k's. And thus, the name Krissim Klaw was born. xd

I am really tired of seeing cutesy artists and anime artists over-looking more detailed artists. I've seen so many contests where more detailed artists were over-looked by cutesy s**t. I can only handle so much cute art before I wanna explode. It's aggravating. I know so many great artists that could use commissions alot more than artists who draw big-eyed cute things that are always commissioned. Bleh. I'm done ranting now.

Arrrrgh.

For the past week, red streaks (some of which bled) have appeared on my calf. Friday morning my knee was a little unhappy. By Friday evening it was so swollen I could barely walk on it. Today, Sunday morning, it's been 36 hours since I self-diagnosed it as an infection of some sort. But the crazy thing is, I don't have any fever, which you'd expect of an infection that had invaded a joint, right?

Well, I'm going to see if I can't find a doctor today. But if it gets to be an emergency, I'm going to be really embarassed... not only will I have to call someone to take me to an ER, I'll have to call the state police (nearest station, about a mile and a half away, but still) to let them into the building... sweatdrop

I hate physical pain and weakness, because I have this weird pride thing going on that interferes with my ability to deal with it rationally (i.e., seek treatment).

>.O oh baby i know that pain! Mine was from skidding on rocks down a hill, and getting rocks imbeded into my leg. biggrin infected. Yes. I also know the issues with seeking treatment. I probably would have let my leg swell up and explode befor i whent to a doctor. buuuut my friends dragged me there. Theres not much you can do when your a wannabe-cripple. xx;

Eh, yesterday I found out that my parents smoke weed and that they have been keeping this from me for years. They still dont know that I know, but my brother told me and he is a drug dealer. No wonder why my mom always goes to his house -_-
