Psycho Lee I came back to see what was going on for Halloween. Checked out the masquerade, noticed the health bar and giant wolves. Anyone know what's up with this game or how it's played?
Providing there aren't more bugs that screwed me out of a key item... stare
Posting immediately in the Grow Gain thread before doing anything may turn you into a wolf. If it's too late, the flash-based masquerade ball will let you switch sides every hour. You got to the NPCs (they're the only two opposite creatures in the area [wolf or human]) and click on them until you kill them or are killed. On dying, you have a chance to switch sides. It may take a long time.
I have no clue how to best get the items. It started out needing to kill people to get them, but now it's every time you attack... I think. Don't bother with healing skills if that's the case, since it seems to go way slower.
To heal yourself, post in the home base for the side you're on. To gain energy, post in the main even forum.
Each side appears to currently only give a max "10, 5, 2, 1" set of items. I don't know their names off hand, but if you have those numbers it should be the complete set for that particular side. There's a guide in the GCD. I really don't know if you can earn more than that or not.
You use those items in an alchemy formula to make an item. It's expensive and requires stickers to get the recipe. Stickers. 10 stickers per recipe in the tree house shop. Sucks tremendously.
And no, currently there is no way to keep the wolf avatar in there.
This was a really pretty crappy event I have to say as far as items go. Even worse if you get stuck without a particular item because you joined in early.
What the hell, Gaia? I don't have time for this anymore. mad PS: Alchemy sucks and your sticker system sucks even more. stare

Garek Maxwell Is it weird that, despite not being on my own yet, I sometimes have bouts of that? Like, I'll clean up randomly or reorganize things and even prepare things (usually just for myself though, and by prepare I mean "slap it together" or "microwave it" since I can't cook. xd ). I guess I know in the future who will be the wearing the "skinny jeans" in my household once I get one. razz ...But sometimes it's fun! sweatdrop
It's not weird at all! Sometimes it can be fun and mentally satisfying to tidy up around the house. 3nodding
And don't worry; even though I can bake up a storm, I can't really cook, either; that's my hubby's department (fortunately, he loves to do it and is very good at it ♥). Microwaves FTW! X3

X3 Oh, totally! And I believe microwaves are the only thing separating us from complete culinary chaos! I've heard of the things college students throw together because they lack microwaves, it isn't pretty. ...And frankly, a little disgusting! I read about a guy who mixed mustard with cereal! Seriously! gonk
. . . Why would you do that?! gonk
I do have a thread here on Gaia bookmarked with a ton of recipes for broke college students. I haven't made any of them yet, but I figured it'd be a nice reference if I ever decide to. X3

Garek Maxwell Apparently he liked it and wanted something different from normal cereal. Well, it's different. emotion_8c Also, those bookmarks could be useful! Care to share? biggrin I assume these are tasty recipes that are relatively good for you and not just mixing two different ramen flavor packets. xd
A little too different for my taste. :XP:
Ask and ye shall receive! There's a little bit of everything there. If I find any other interesting threads, I'll let you know. :3
