The Lagoon

Blaze stood feeling anxious. He made sure Sapphire was safe before running to see what was going on.
Caesar stood by Lukara his fur on end.
BlackRain saw Storm and ran to her licking her frantically,"Where were you I was so worried!" He didn't notice but his paws were on fire.
Mist licked her pups trying to comfort them and curled tightly around them.
((that took awhile))

"That flash.... I know it..."

Fate searched for the thought that memory. His brain turned up and down as he thought.

"Dare..." he hissed.

"I will tell you later." Storm let his licks run through her fur. "But don't worry. Shadow is done with."

She turned back to Fate. "I heard two wolves talking about a certain wolf. One that they want." Storm paused. "And that wolf is... Mist." She whispered quiet enough so the others didn't hear.

He felt happy she was back,"What about night?"
Mist came out,"Fate whats going on? The pups are scared. Cherry is so terrified she can't stop shaking."

"Some one is here. I think it might be one of my... brothers."

Dare grinned and in a flash of lightning he darted toward the scent of pups and entered the cave.

"Well hello my pretties. A lovely day for a snack? Eh?"

Zyth snarled greaty at Dare.

"Looks like we got a fighter... not a lover." He laughed darkly.

"Okay, I will tell you what happened..." Storm licked him on the ear. "Shadow took me and Night away. I managed to kill that evil wolf, to find that Night was no kinder then he. I ran, as far as I could, and ended up back here."

She faced Fate again. "We need to get the pups!"

||- Ok since Willow went I better post... stare -||

Fate's eyes widdened greatly.

"The pups."

He darted toward the den.

Dare grinned as he moved swiftly to the pups.

"I hope you pups are heathy... i don't want to die because of you."

"Well you need to!" Zyth snapped as he clawed Dare's nose.

Dare yelped and grinned darkly as a threatening snarl began to burst out of his jaws.--

"Uh oh..."

Storm raced after him and looked at Dare. "Get away from them!" She snarled.

"Oh.. these are yours? This makes this funner," he laughed.

He snatched Zyth by the neck, not the scruff. The neck with his fangs and smiled.

Zyth tried to fight back but everytime he moved the grip of the jaws around him went tighter.

Storm charged at Dare and jumped on his back, kicking him with her hind legs, and she slowly tried to break Zyth free.

Zyth was let go of but he flew threw the air. Spreading his wings he flapped them hard trying to fly.

"Please!" he begged. Then he was floating in mid air. "Whoo! I can fly!"

"You dirty fae!"Dare's wings burst from his back in brillant colors and crackeling sounds but a shocking touch.

Dare tried to flip himself over and tried to smack her with his claws.

Storm tried to avoid his claws. "Run Zyth!" Her voice carried through the cave as she hit Dare in the face.

Zyth tried to move away from Dare as fast as he could on paws but Dare wiped him with his wing. He was knocked from the world in a moment, not dead but asleep.

Dare kicked her and thrashed at her face as his wings grew very large and started to spark and hit the sides of the walls with great power.

Vera heard a commotion and came skidding into the cave mouth. "What?!"

She saw the floundering pup and scooped him with her wing and pushed him outside the cave and farther from the angry wolf inside.

"Storm! What's going on?" She yelped desperately.

 

[---Crumplet---]

Sapphire woke to the commotion, her heart sank when she counldn't find Blaze. Sapphire walked out the the woods to see Storm being attacked by Dare, "STORM!"
