Kids all across the US don't spek for an entire day as a protest for gay rights. The silence is to mirror the silence gay/leasbian/transgender/bisexual kids and their allies face every day because of harrassment and discrimination.

Maybe I shouldn't bring this subject matter up, since it's such a personal thing, and it's so important to me. I like all of you guys, and I don't want to ruin anything by getting in a fight over gay rights.
