He leans against the counter, "I got caught up with something around the time I was originally going to leave and then went off to have dinner." He covers his mouth as he yawns, "I can still make it down to the party well enough, it is going to be going till the early morning as it is, just that heavy meal has knocked me out some." He closes his eyes and smirks, "and it was certainly worth it to be made to run late."
