Well, that's one way, but not the one I'm thinking of. Just let him drive off, don't follow him. That way cars don't spawn near him, so he doesn't get hurt. I believe once he gets over the bridge or something, you have to be near him, but up till then don't do anything.

My pyro side is kept locked up because of the special pill my phyciotrise (sp?) and parents makes me take
