When he tried to waggle his tail happily Tiha only managed a cute wriggle of his bottom, since Eri had a tight hold on him. “Momma?” He glanced up at the looming bat and made a face. “Nah! Go way!” The little God shuffled around on the spot and then sat up with his arms spread out, trying to block his sister from view, as if that would somehow stop her from being found before freedom could be grasped. “Eri not here. Tiha not here."

Eriannia clapped her hands together, bouncing on her bottom as she chanted "Momma momma!" The bat merely stared down at her with its green eyes. It made no moves, so Eri got bored and grabbed her brother who was trying to shield her. "Ooouut!" She hugged him to her as she stood and tried to toddle to the door.

When the bat didn’t look like it was going to tell on them or make them stay inside, Tiha turned his attention back to his sister. She was already starting to toddle ahead and he quickly crawled after her. He hurried past her tottering form, wanting to make sure he was the first one out. Only a little further and then he was just outside the door, into he bright sunlight. “Eri, Eri!” Sitting up, he waved his arms up and down. All that arm waving caused him to loose balance and fall flat on his face, tail still waggling around happily.

Eriannia let her brother take the lead, giggling happily that they seemed to be getting away with things. She stepped outside next to Tiha and blinked against the light. She shrieked unhappily as a dark form came into focus. She folded her little arms across her chest and let her lower lip quiver. "Momma!" She cried in protest.
Vesira wore an amused smile as she gazed down at two of her children. Her arms, too, were folded across her chest and smiled as her daughter mirrored her. The bat that had been watching the tiny gods flew to Vesira's side and landed on a branch just above the Goddess. "Tihamar, Eriannia, you both know better than to wander off without an escort." She shook her head slowly, her twin tails swaying serenely behind her. She had no doubt that even if trouble came the two gods' way, they'd be more than capable of handling themselves, at least against mortal adversaries. Even as toddlers, her children showed a fierce independence and strength that made the Goddess proud. Moreover, she admired the way the two stuck together through everything. It brought the guilt of her actions to the fore, however, and a pang of pain ran through her heart momentarily. She should be scolding three children, not two. Her cold eyes turned and gazed at the horizon, though they focused on nothing in particular. She thought back to the children's father and the son he had taken with him when she had expelled him as her Angelique. She shook the thoughts and doubt from her head and forced a smile back at her remaining children. "Back inside you two, and lets begin some training." Her voice was soft and still a bit distant. She walked to her children and plucked them both from the ground and held one in each hand and her face softened. She nuzzled Tihamar, then Eriannia, and carried them back into the throne room.

Sterling brightened a bit at her words. She didn't consider him useless. Perhaps a burden, but not completely unhelpful. No...not even a burden. Vampirella seemed to...well, she seemed to actually like Sterling, the first of the Zamphir to do so.
Her next bit of news both startled him and shook him to his core. "They..." his voice dropped to a whisper, "They made you one of them?!" Surely he heard her wrong, surely she couldn't be... Sterling's eyes widened with disbelief. Vampires were despicable creatures, that should be slain. That's how it seemed to the Zamphir, anyway. Of course Vesira knew, how could she not? Vampirella wouldn't keep such a thing from her. But...if it were true, why would Vesira allow Vampirella to stay, if she truly hated all vampires? He didn't understand this at all. Part of him wanted to flee, to retreat to his own quarters and forget all about this...forget her. But part of him wanted to stand by her, the first being to treat him with kindness, the first to treat him like he wasn't a subordinate. Such a beautiful, clever Zamphir...he couldn't just abandon her! But this was a secret that shook his very bones, unnerving and cold. Forcing himself to remain where he was sitting, he could not stop the tremors running up and down his spine. He sat there, digesting this news, and trying not to allow his horror to show on his face.
((Sorry this is so late, real life decided to throw me some curve balls XD))

Vampirella continued to stare at the floor, aware only of Sterling's terror. She was a monster; she knew. She was reminded of it every night as she slipped out into the darkness to feast on some hapless creature. She was familiar with the taste of blood. All Zamphirs were, though they didn't need it to survive as vampires do. A zamphir could still partake of normal food. Vampirella could not, nor could she stand in the sun any longer. She heaved a heavy sigh and glanced up at the trembling Sterling. "You can leave if you so desire," she said softly, her eyes slightly misted. "I'll take no offense. Few willingly keep company with vampires, especially in the home of Vesira." She looked around her luxurious room and frowned. She hated all of the lavish things Vesira bestowed on her, but she would never disobey the goddess. Her loyalty and love for Vesira did not end with her mortality. "Vesira is more merciful than I could ever be," she muttered, then looked back to Sterling as if just remembering he was still sitting there. "I ran to her immediately," she explained, "and begged her forgiveness in my failure. I swore I would hunt down every last of those despicable creatures and slaughter them all. She allowed me the chance and one by one, I did as I promised. I brought the fangs to Vesira as tribute to her infinite mercy and wisdom." She smiled wistfully in the memory. Her goddess had been so pleased with her! "I continue to hunt vampires, and so Vesira lets me live. One day, my work will be done and I will ask of my goddess but one more thing." Vampirella shook her head to rid herself of darker thoughts. She couldn't imagine a time when her services wouldn't be needed. Even now, she felt new vampires awakening.

Bellania had decided to finally give her services to the Goddess Vesira. She was a sea witch and had control over water magics, so it might be of use to her Goddess.
It seemed that there were already a good number of Zamphirs in the temple. Hopefully Bell would stand out in the crowd. She was sure that Vesira would take notice of her power at the least.

Vesira's ears twitched slightly as she noticed a new zamphir enter the temple. She was about to send her daughter Eriannia to greet this newest visitor, but paused. There was something unique about this zamphir and Vesira wanted to see it for herself. Still, her daughter needed some practice in attending the temple, so she called to her anyways. As Eriannia appeared Vesira beckoned her over. "There is an interesting zamphir visiting today, my daughter. Together we shall greet her." With that, Vesira and Eriannia disappeared only to appear again in front of Bellania. She trained her fierce eyes upon the sea witch but waited for her daughter to speak, giving her silent cues to do so.
Eriannia was a bit nervous as she caught sight of the new zamphir. She'd kept to herself mostly and hadn't met any of the followers yet. She remained silent a moment, but with the silent prodding of her mother she finally said, "Greetings and welcome to the temple of the Zamphirs. I am Eriannia, daughter of Vesira. Have you brought an offering?"

Bellania looked at the Goddess that had suddenly appeared before her and smiled. She was very beautiful. The little one that clung to her side was adorable in the way that she was already taking to her mother's duties. She had heard about an offering, so she had already brought something with her.
Bell slowly conjured a ball of water. It was no ordinary water though. It shimmered and shined like a jewel.
"This, my Goddesses, is a looking glass! You can peer into it and see whatever you wish to. It must exist though. You could use it for security around the temple, or anything else your hearts desire."
Bell handed it over to the little goddess and smiled.

Karn Evil stepped into the black marble temple. He looked around, a smirk on his face. This place seemed like the place for him. He wondered which diety was the diety of the temple.
"Anyone here?" He asked, his voice echoing off the walls. He smirked again. This temple was nice.

((hehe Eriannia has grown now. <33 It's ok I didn't specify that she was being rped as an adult. I'm just going to dismiss her anyways since I want to rp her with the dark angelic that just showed up XD))
Vesira smiled approvingly as her daughter recited precisely what had been rehearsed. The young goddess learned swiftly and Vesira swelled with pride. She stroked the young goddess on the head and gestured towards the door to the side, clearly dismissing the girl. Turning to the zamphir, she spoke. "I am Vesira, Goddess of Zamphirs." She paused to examine the ball of strange water, her mismatched eyes wide at its power. Being a goddess, she could see what she wished anyways, but this new tool would eliminate the need to expend her powers unless necessary. "This is an acceptable offering," she said at length. "Please place it on the altar." She gestured behind her where the elaborate altar stood.
Eriannia nodded as her mother dismissed her, glad to be done with the silly exercises her mother put her through. Everyday was a training day, and for once the young goddess just wanted to enjoy her time. As she slipped out the side door she noticed another presence, a voice that echoed down the corridor from the entrance. She grinned to herself and made her way towards it, curious what she'd find without her mother's supervision.
She reached the entrance and was happily surprised to see a male standing there, demanding who was here. A mischievous smile crossed her lips as she slipped into the shadows where he wouldn't see her. Her voice surrounded him making it impossible to determine where exactly she was. "Who wants to know? State your name!"

((awwww they grow up so quickly ;_ wink )
Bellania bowed infront of her goddess and did as she commanded. Bell walked over to the altar behind Vesira and placed the shimmering ball of water upon it. She then walked back and took her place standing infront of Vesira again.
"What would my Goddess have me do? My services are in your command now." She stood up straight and looked up, awaiting an answer.

Karn Evil turned around to try and find the voice, but the magnificent hall made doing so impossible. He smirked, hoping that it wasn't the diety of the temple, since he tended to be rude when dealing with the unknown.
"Ah, the one speaking must be so ugly that they are afraid to show themselves." He spoke, his voice light and smooth. His eyes flickered around, trying to find movement.

Ooc: I hope you don’t mind me popping in. xD
Ic: “You know, when visiting somebody else’s home, perhaps you should bring your manners along with you.” A voice reprimanded the Dark Angelic, a hint of annoyance in his tone. “I would have more respect towards your betters if I were you.” The god appeared behind Karn Evil, looming across his shoulder. “My sister takes more kindly to compliments.... and so do I.” Tihamar was usually amazingly easy-going, but there was one thing he couldn’t stand, and that was any rudeness towards Eriannia, even spoken in jest.
The god’s eyes gave a mischievous twinkle. “You’ve just lost five points. Get to minus ten and you’re out the door.”

((oh I knooow! She turned out so gorgeously too!)
Vesira regarded the zamphir before her with curiosity. "Tell me your name." Her voice was not harsh, nor was it overly kind. It was just very simply to the point, but there was always a hint of warning to it the wise would do well to heed. She was not typically a merciful goddess, however she would not be unduly cruel to her followers. "Tell me, how did a zamphir become a creature of the sea?" She lifted her legs beneath her and crossed them under her as though she were sitting on something solid, though she still hung in the air. She pierced the zamphir with her intense gaze, mismatched eyes locked to hers. It was unclear if she approved of the zamphir's vocation or not.
Ooc: Not at all! Any potential suitor to Eri will have to learn to deal with her brother as well XD
Ic: "You think me ugly?" Her voice was taunting and dripping with sarcasm. "Tsk tsk, you should never insult a woman so." She caught a glimpse of her brother and smiled. The dark angelic was in for more than he bargained for, as Tihamar could be quite a tyrant especially where Eriannia was concerned. She stepped out of the shadows, flipping her two-toned hair behind her. She reached up and tapped one of her long golden claws on her chin gently. "Now how can you make up those points?" She fluttered her lashes at the angelic and grinned at her brother. "My name is Eriannia, by the way." She gave the angelic a playful wink as she began circling him.
