What are you reading right NOW?

Currently two fanfictions:

The Annals of Darkness series for a friend of mine. I went to camp with the author once. biggrin It's Kingdom Hearts-based, and currently in the middle of a re-write, but it's all good. Well written too!

On the other end of the spectrum is My Immortal. Google search it. Best HP fanfiction ever. Though, warning: weak minds may deteriorate further.

I'm reading Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs. It's the second book in the Alpha and Omega series. So far it's just as good as the first. I can't wait to see how it ends!

I finished three novels already, for summer reading work for Honors English.

And now I'm relaxing with a handful of manga. xD Reading Vassalord and Rosario-Vampire.

Anyway I read my immortal and my brain melted. I lost a hundred iq points in the course of the reading.

I am currently reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Normally I wouldn't pick up something like this, but I have to read it for my English class. It's kind of interesting though. For those of you who don't know, it is about a society in which it is against the law to read books. If someone finds out that you have books in your house, the 'firemen' will come and burn said books as well as your house!
Personally, I believe that it's a sin to burn books. I've only read the first part, but it is good despite all the details (which make it kind of slow).

@Lyember -- Oh, my friend LOVES Fahrenheit 451! She read it on her own; not for school, and adores it, along with the movie.

I find it depressing that they burn books... sad

Yeah I read that. It was good but just the thought of all those books burning made me cringe, and made me so incredibly sad.

The movie just plain made me laugh. Though some of it has actually come to pass, namely the big screen televisions.
