He smiled too. "Okay. Do you think you're ready for this? This is a big life decision. Once it happens, there's no going back."

she thought for a moment, "am I at risk to anyone? If so, I should shut down the bakery first."  

[Mileena Chardonnay]

"It will take a couple of days for you to get used to feeding without killing, so you may wish to close the shop for a few days... Unless you can get someone to take care of it for you in your place. Just say you're not feeling well, and won't be able to work."  

[Kechero-TheForsakenRose]

"I'll close it." She hugged him tightly, "your not alone. I'm here."  

[Mileena Chardonnay]

(Those words... They mean so much right now...)

"Then go. Do what you must. I will wait for you here."  

[Kechero-TheForsakenRose]

((I love you. Your not alone. I'm here. Now kiss me you fool! *kisses him*))

She nodded, and went.

She came back later, "I'm ready."

"You sure?"

She smiled and nodded, "forever."

He gently bent her head to the side, and brushed her hair out of the way. "You may feel a slight discomfort... I'm going to count down from 10. As soon as I reach 0, I will bite you, okay?"

"No, no counting, just do it."  

[Mileena Chardonnay]

"Your muscles need to be relaxed. I was going to bite before the countdown ended, so you wouldn't be expecting it, and wouldn't tense up. If you tense up the muscles, it'll hurt a lot more than it should. Can you relax for me?"

(Once you know the meaning of that word in its entirety, you probably won't stop smiling. It would be an honour if I could somehow be your Chevalier.)

She smiled faintly, "I am...I want this. I'm not afraid."

He bit into her neck. He could feel her shake slightly upon impact, but she did not tense up. He winced a little as his blood flowed into her, then withdrew after enough had been allowed in. Wiping his mouth as well as her neck, he said "The transition may go smoothly or may be unpredictable. It's different for everybody. Your fangs may come first; your vulnerability to sunlight when you haven't fed may come first; your muscle strengthening may come first. Keeping this in mind, I'm going to have to keep you in a safe area until you have fully recovered. Follow me, please; it may not be much, but I have a cave outside of town. It's hidden, and properly barricaded." He held out his hand to her.

She was slightly dizzy, "Yes. Okey." She took his hand softly.

Soon enough, they were at a large, wooden fence, whose beams were carved into points on the top. There seemed to be no door.

He picked her up in his arms, and leaped right over it. A cave stood, as promised, right before them. "It's not much, but it's home. Welcome."
