s**t. He thought, hearing them and glancing back to the cave, then in the dirextion of Sphyxie. Damn. He thought, suddenly standing up. HEY! He turned his back and wiggled his stubby tail at them. Think you can take me?! He yelled, purposely being distracting so as to get the majority of the humans after him.. and lead them away. You sissies can't even take a little Rain! If they started after him, he'd run, of course, but in a direction away from the cave.

Sitting at the foot of the obviouse leader, was a dark colored dog, with its head bowed in the rain. A coyote of sorts. Incredabley skinny and the size of a large dog, the emaciated being sat head positioned down, iwth rain dripping off its nose and peirceings. Some sort of pet, most likely. It was odd, for its dark color, with neon green markings. The ear tips and the inner ears where neon green, as well as the nose and the 'half head' of hair that draped over the left eye. neon green sock markings stood out on all four feet, and the unerbelly was also the same green. At the base of the tail, was three neon green rings of color, at the tip, two befor the neon green tip. Its ears where uncharectoristicly large, and its face was littered with peirceings. A bright green collar was straped around the fluffy neck. It would continue to sit dormently, obediantly. For it seems when one is this emaciate and sick, fighting back isnt an option.

Seeing Mephisto trying to distract the humans, and knowing his age, she took off in a direction that was to the opposite of the cave and him. "Hey! I'm the one you want! I'm your weapon!" she growled out. She flicked her rainbow tipped tail, the markings like a bright glowing signal for anyone that wanted to follow her.

What the hell is she thinking?

That's what he thought when he looked to her, and was tempted to yell at her to stop being stupid, but.. held his tongue, waiting for the human's reactions before he made any rash actions.

Protect the-- Hey! Crim thought, rather irritated. She might be battered, but she was far from incapacitated. She slipped the furs off and headed outside into the rain with the others. They had Cresh, and if there was even a slim chance that these humans could tell her where he was, she would take it.

She stood up slowly. The cramps in her legs were intense, but Crim breathed deeply and slowly, and the pain lessened. As she stepped out of the mouth of the cave, she heard Sphyxie and Mephi shouting. She wadered to Sphyxie's left and joined in the catcalls.

"Hey, over here! Come and get me, you bastards!" Crim shouted, then dropped into a crouch, prepared to run again if she had to. Her lip was drawn back into snarl.

What in the bloody hell were those girls thinking?! The idea was for HIM to lead them away, as one group, so that they were easier to keep track of, not split them in different directions! Both of you get back! I'll handle this! He shouted in aggitation. Worse yet.. Sirus.. was alone.

Now that theire was obviousely a fight to go, she'd sneak away, makeing her way twords the male. It wasn't a hard sent for her to fallow. Ears would tilt back, tail would twitch slightly and softly, and her eyes would blink, almost lazily. Although her vision wasn't as good as most, she was able to track him easily, without being seen. The only notation she'd give, was the grass moveing.

Crim shouting caused Sirus to jump out of his daze. He stood up and took the girl's hand.

"What are you doing? We can't fight them, can't you tell how many are out there? You're not well and I''m not strong," Sirus took her hand. "Come on!"

He began to run farther into the cave, into the system of paths and waterways. Mephi had long since shown him how to navigate his way through and hide safely. He reached a small pool, and pulled Crim into a small crevace.

The humans outside could hear all that was going on. The leader made some hand motions and they began to split up. "Project no. 007832 is already out here. And Project no. 009833 and no. 000646 are inside the cave formation. There is an unknown out here as well, we want him alive,"

Their pet was already heading towards him but he sent a few men to check him out. Three or four began to make their way to Sphixie and the leader took the rest to the cave. He steped inside and made some hand motions as they walked deeper within the cave.

She sprinted to the entrance of the cave on all fours and barred the human intruders from entering. "You want them, you have to go through me. And I don't think you want to do that. You know what I am capable of." Her clawed fingers seemed to lengthen and started to turn black, she could use the shadows as a weapon if she needed to. She watched them closely, not letting them near.

One in a mask looked at her then at his partners. A female pulled out a box and handed it to him.

"Project no. 007832, darkness is her ally. She uses shadows and darkness as a wepon. Her weakness..." she fliped the box open and flashed a bright light right at Sphixie. "...Light,"

She hissed and covered her face, her eyes turning bright red from the light and her fur beginning to turn stark white. She fell to her knees and cowered in a curled up ball, smoke rising from her burning fur.

The one with the mask pulled out a net gun shot it at her. The net wraped around her burning fur and clung onto her. He turned to the female in the group. "Watch her,"

He then began to make his way inside, following his other team mates who had previously entered.

Sirus poked his head out and looked around the cave. So far nothing had come to them. But they couldn't spend the whole time hiding. Crawling out of his spot, he began to scale the small inclines along the wall, taking a high position. He could see farther away now. His eyes shot out in surprise as a human already made his way there.

She wrapped her claws into the netting, trying to tear it apart and glared at the human. "Human scum....you are worthless....Using us because we're differant...you should be ashamed..." She tore her claws at the netting and tried to claw at the human woman.

The human woman looked at her indiffrently and stomped a foot on her hand. "Quit moving, you'll only hurt yourself," she replied.
Once this was over she could go home, this stupid study was taking too much time and money.

Mreowling in pain she pulled back her paw and rubbed it, glaring at the horrid human wench. "Hmph..."
